ALanza sighs at she works on the history quiz. She looks over at Adam and whispers "I have NO idea who the general was before Grant"

He keeps his eyes on the paper, working. A small head shake 'no'

"you okay?" She whispers "you've been kind of like the walking dead lately"

He repeats the gesture and keeps working.

The teacher gives them the eye, then looks away "Less talking while testing please"

Alanza winces and mutters sorry

Adam works on the quiz.

the class ends, and there's a break for lunch

Alanza walks with him or tries to "Hey, I want to talk"

"Ok."

"What's with you?" The Eshu asks "You're not okay. I heard that. so..what's wrong?" She puts a hand on his arm.

"Doesn't matter. I'm here, I'm doing what they want. That's all."

"We're ALL here" She says "And we're not acting like someone ran over our dog"

A bald kinian girl sobbing, clearly her hair just fell out, races past them

She looks to be a childlling

The Eshu blinks "Okay... some of us are ...but we're bald at age 10"

Adam watches her race past. He turns away. "Sorry, Alanza. Don't know what you want me to say."

"What do you want to say?" She asks

He sits with the question for a time.

He shakes his head. "I don't want to say anything."

"Okay. That's your right. But you seem in a bad place and it's my right to worry. Come on, let's get lunch"

Adam follows.

At lunch, Adam sees a sidhe he's never seen before

He pushes food around but doesn't eat much. The Sidhe gets only a glance.

"Hey man" the guy sidhe a wilder about his age nods "Nice to meet you. Heard about you. I'm Dunn"

"Hello." Polite if quiet. "Adam Thomas."

"Yeah I heard. You're the guy who just.. became" He does not seem to be mocking

"Yes, he's.. differeent" Nadeen says eating her food

"It's complicated."

"It's amazing. You know this means right?" A look "We don't have to steal bodies.. or maybe one day we won't have to."

"I mean, yes, there's the changeling way" Dunn goes on, "And we need to just shift there and be done... but imagine a new way to bring sidheness to mortals. They were our greatest victims, now they could be our salvation"

Minerva gives Dunn an IRRITATED look

"Maybe."

"Maybe" Dunn says excitedly "I didn't even know such magics existed"

((Is lunch set up such that one can excuse themselves when finished?))

(Or even get up and take the tray outside. Some do)

"Pardon me." Adam takes his tray, busses it, and goes outside.

And he takes a spot by a tree

He sits and waits.

"Dude?" Zane trots up "You all right?"

He stops "Nope. I can tell you're not. Mm" he gestures and makes eyeglass motions "I spy with my little Eye"

"Don't do magic on me, Dude."

"Sorry, I thought maybe it would help.." The glamour has gone "i wasn't making you DO anything. Just an omen"

"Still."

"Okay . Still but folks tell me you're not talking.. and if you're under some curse or something I want to know" He says as he considers what he saw

He shakes his head 'no.'

"Well, this isn't your normal unseelie mode.."A frown "But it is a bit banal." Worried look

"Maybe it's me being a satyr, but you sure you don't need to go scream at the sky? "

"Wouldn't make a difference."
