"Well, some need shade and the farm is built for sunlight," Hearth Agnes nods

"Well, yes, it does work out nicely, Hearth. And Jack is enjoying the farm..." Myrtle Anne smiles "he's mad for gardening, and while farming is more expansive than that he's learning a lot."

"Well, the boy is not afraid of hard work" Agnes approves "As long as he gets to play. Speaks well of how you're raising him"

Myrtle Anne stops chopping mushrooms at that "Rais- oh no.. no.. he's not mine he's..well, he's not anyone's really" A thoughtful look

"You sure? Seems to me that when he's out of the lodge he's with you and Torin" Agnes raises a brow

"Well, more Torin's than..." Agnes raises a brow at something "You're hinting and not too subtlely I might add"

"You want subtle, we have a sluagh friend whose really hard to understand" Agnes offers. "Boy needs someone for more than just providing food drink and shelter I'm saying"

"Well, I won't say it hasn't occurred to us" M.A. admits "Neithr of us is a spring chicken"

"You are to this old bird," Agnes says "Not saying things have to be just so, but see how Jack Flap reacts to the notion without stating it outright?"

"I'm not even sure HOW serious this relationship with Torin is" Myrtlte Anne says "I suspect you're hoping to match make it solid. What is it with Hearths?"

"We're always looking to build bridges" Agnes admits "Kerri has a slyer touch than I do. I just put two young folks on the same chore and leave them alone and see what happens."

"Ha," Myrtle Anne nods, then smiles "So you must be pleased about Sally Mae doing so well with Carowyn, him being a nice fellow and all. They really do seem serious."

"Carowyn? Not sure I know the.." Agnes isnt' going to admit she and Sally Mae have had disagreements of late and might be out of touch "I don't think I've had the pleasure"

"oh sure, I mean, he keeps himself busy, being a member of the bannerhouse and all- Truthbranches, but Sally mae makes sure he doesn't wear himself down " the boggan nods "Good match. And as he's a Liam sidhe he knows not to take a mortal girl for granted, so many kithain don't appreciate kinian"
