"I thought you meant magical secrets, not being awesome" Zane says

Agnes gives Emmit the hairy eyeball

"Just best to run it by me, first, if you please," Emmit tells the boy.

"Yes, Sir." Zane says

Earl looks interested

Clem's like "I hadn't heard this one."

Agnes says "It was a pain in the butt that took quite a while to resolve." Hmmph "Zane, I do have chores for you in the kitchen to earn your lessons. Help me scrub some pots. Come on"

The satyr sighs , nods and goes in.

Zara looks rather like a cat stuffed full of canary.

Agnes says "The others will fill you in, Mountain. " A brow "And you might want to tell your apprentice the WHOLE story about the fall out from angering even echoes of goddesses" And she goes into the kitchen too.

Emmit coughs, and mutters 'No regrets"

"Alright. Some more time by the fire for Earl, and then we head out."

And they spend the time filling the Mountain in. And, in exchange, may get a story that involves and angry goddess, and Agnes having to go down into the underworld to free an idiot kinsman armed only with the fire of a torch and indigniation.
