"Happy to help. Mountain is with his new apprentice or he'd be here by now I reckon. Want me to get him?"

"I would, yes."

Agnes nods, "Be right back. You take it easy on yourself, rest if you need to." She says firm, and walks off.

Clem smiles, then nods to her friend "Definitely take it easy. He's fine now. He's fine."

Zara realizes she may have nodded off, hot tea, rest, did she nap?

First thing, she checks on the also-dozing Earl... feeling his forehead, checking his breathing... did the poison pass?

It seems to have , or at least he's no longer drunk

1122 sends signal he is safe

Relief. "Ah, good."

"Love? Are you awake?"

"I am, alive and well. And even sober," A kiss of her hand, "You ok? Eiluned are always tricky to tangle with"

"I will feel better when all of my companions are home and safe. 1122 has reported, I must needs scry for Bronte."

"Here you go, darling, nother cup of tea, with leaves, should make a good bunk" Agnes sets it down

"Thank you, Hearth." She gathers the steam with her hands, breathing in through her nose and the exhaling over the amber surface.

Bronte is in a net! Yet, she looks smug, as if she really had popcorn!

Alarm and a soft hiss.

And then, a net is torn open! Gerd's priority is the dragon's safety!

Clem raises a brow "She's not happy"

"No, really clem?" Earl lets the sarcasm slip

"Someone captured her... Rivervale, it seems. Gerd rescued her from... two? Aye, two... " Pause. "A redcap?"

"I do not see the book, but Bronte looks smug."

Pride? Oh, that IS pride on Zara's part.

"Gerd? She went to Rivervale?" Earl is impressed, then snickers "She took the book to Rivervale? Oh those poor idiots"

Agnes raises a brow "CHieftain there will deal with them proper I imagine."

"For all the Baroness is Gwydion... it is not exactly a sidhe-friendly place.."

"oh my... they grow them LARGE in Jersey..."

"Ah, that'll be Dagmar," Clem says "Swear, if it weren't for the fact she was Gwydion I'd try to pinch her away from that lodge."

Agnes snorts, "Fat chance of you ever doing that. Even if her folks came along for it, the Chief would fight you for her."

"Oh, she's angry. Gwydion do have a thing about lies, one must be very careful when speaking to them..."

"And I'd lose," Clem says sagely

"Get em Dagmar" Earl says as the report comes in

"I suppose that is one thing to envy the Eiluned... "

"You're better than any Eiluned," Earl says with certainty

"Agreed. But one can still recognize their advantages. Why, you know my thoughts on Varich - but I can admire their gift for patterns. It is an enviable thing. That does not make the house admirable."

"You'll not hear my say much kind about any sidhe house" Agnes says "Set in my wayss I guess. But I must say the way they treat sluagh is revolting beyond my usual distaste. Your kith are odd, and sometimes I don't know if I approve of their means," Agnes says "But every Kithain is part orf the greater community and it aint' right to pretend otherwise"

"Thank you, Agnes. The folk of the Farmhold have always been gracious and hospitable. I find no fault in their manners." High praise, for those familiar with her kith.

"You better not or I'll have the ear of whatever youngester gave sass to a friend," the Hearth nods.

Both Clem AND Earl, at that, start to reach for their own ears protectively. Some lessons you never grow out of

"Oh, I am glad Gerd did not let Bronte see... oh! That little brat is WATCHING! Bronte!"

Sigh.

"You raise em as best you can and hope they turn out not too warped," Agnes says, a side glance to Earl and Clem.

Clem rolls her eyes

"How's it going now? Do I need to head over? heal anyone?" Clem rises

"Oof. Gwydion are so stuffy. I think the tall one is offended."

All three of the valers bear some wounds, but it's the two dragon nappers want to bes that are really hurt

"She's all 'talk and don't lie'" Zara reports.

"I would not advise lying to her," Earl says

Huff. "Gwydion."

Earl looks amused "Eiluned you at least understand?"
