Zara nods at Agnes. "Aye."

"Zane... interesting. Boy's got a gift, no doubt. Any mentor teaching there will be working with good talent" A nod

"Mmm.."

Agnes shoots Zara a look but doesn't say anything.

"Well, Frank could teach him but we sent him Bix. " A pondering, "Arguably, however he and piper meant it, they did both do the Farm a good turn..."

"Aye, they did."

"Though my impression of Bix and Frank both is one of.. ah.. pragmatism?"

Zara raises an eyebrow.

Agnes chooses this moment to wipe down a glass, a reflective one (By coincidence, surely)

"I suppose I could give the boy a look see," He ponders, "Or invite him over."

"Last time we had a satyr guest, we ended up with at least three babies on the way," Agnes reminds.

"oh right, I'll visit him" The Mountain coughs.

Zara nods. "I think you might see interesting things, Mountain."

"Well, I did say I'd try to spread some of my teachings to other kiths, guesss with sluagh coming along so well, I should at least look at Satyrs. Ariel's still too young for the advanced stuff" Emmit says.

Agnes nods "How fortunate that we just 'chanced' on this news of a wunderkind with hooves," The slight stress on chanced hints she thinks its nothing of the sort, and another glance to Zara

"Could Be Da'an, Agnes, it very well could be Da'an" A nod from the Mountain

"Aye. Could be." Sip.

A low mutter from Agnes, one Emmit doesn't hear but the sluagh surely does "Seems to be sometimes Da'an gets volunteers for help"

Then in a normal volume she says "Just don't go using a new student as an excuse to go slugabed,"

"I never, why that's the problem with you, Agnes. You mistake things," Emmit says "Why that smoking of pipe and having a sip of whiskey? That's just country meditation for this ole shaman."

And this time, it's Emmit who winks at Zara

She shoots a tiny smile at the Hearth when Emmitt isn't looking.

"I prefer a good cup of tea." Agreeably.

The hearth shakes her head at Emmit, but for Zara, just a hint of a smile back, not full approval, but not disapproval either, that said, the Hearth does say "Seems to me that Earl comes here when you do, Zara. We're gonna have to work harder making you tighter to the family still just to have him show his face more" And at this, a fresh cup of tea is poured for the girl.
