"Good to see you again, Sylvi" Spencer smiles

"Oh! Spencer, hey!" She smiles back as she steps off the bridge. "How are you?"

"Good, thanks, Music lessons are going great. I'm going to be a skald." he's not as broad shoulder as Colton, but shaping up nicely he's grown another few inches.

"That's so cool. Your voice is really beautiful when you sing." She might color just a bit, remembering.

"Well, thanks. I'd love to sing for you again" He walks by and says "anytime"

"I...ah...th-thanks?"

Okay...she was not ready for that. She should have been, but she wasn't. Stupid, stupid, stupid, Sylvi.

And he's off

He's teasing me. That's all. Nothing serious. She reassures herself, and goes in search of Clem.

Clem sees her "Come on, let's see how we're doing' For once she is not working when found.

Sylvi smiles, sets down her backpack and spear and takes off her jacket. "Okay...what do you want me to do?"

"Trust me. You can do that right?" Curious

A surprised look, then a moment of nerves, then she squashes them down. "I can now, yeah." Resolute.

"Then... " Clem looks at her, "Winter, Autumn, Summer, Spring.. Great Oak, New Tree, but sappling, now seed now seed, small and fresh. Ready to with soil mesh"

And Sylvi notices her skin shift to wood.

A moment of surprise, followed by a moment of panic, followed by that resolute chin as she seems determined to do what she said she would, and trust Clem.

"Easy easy..."

She tries to keep her breathing even.

And it doesn't stop there.... everthing seems to be getting larger. Soon she's not breathing ..not like she's used to, for she has no mouth or nose... it's all going dark.

"Clem...?!" she creaks as her vision fades.

"Shhh" A voice from the void "Sylvi, you are a seed. You are a small seed." She can feel warmth, is.. she in Clem's hand? "Now... spend some glamour...and make yourself grow"

Sylvi would close her eyes to concentrate, if she had any eyes. She doesn't have any anything...but she does have glamour. She focuses, and generates a small swirl, a little zephyr of energy, and...offers it up to the parts of her that need to grow.

And slowly she bursts, and grows and ...feels the sun about her... it warms her, water in the soil nourishes... it's...amazing

Oh...that feels amazing! She reaches out to the sun and down into the cool soil, wiggling her root-toes and...stretches, as far as she can!

"Now... step out... from life as a tree, back to being Sylvi the wilder troll"

Just...one more stretch....

And then like that, she steps out, of herself? A troll again

And her mind is spining. NEver before has she so had such direct contact with the spring magic effects.

"I...wait...what?" She turns and looks around.

She expects there to be a new tree behind her.

And to her surprise, there is... it's open, a natural 'cave' in it.

Shaped like her.

well, like her outline.

Clem walks over to it, pats it, "There there... good job"

"That's...I...I did that?" She goes to touch the tree as well. "I didn't hurt it, did I?"

"You WERE it," Clem says

"You...you elderformed me? Is that how you did that?"

"Little bit" she says

"Mostly it was a way to let you feel the magic, to entwine it"

"With your very being for a short time. You used spring on yourself.. so to speak"

"That was...." A kind of a deep, wonderful shudder. "Wowww."

"I think I get it. Spring, I mean. I get it a little better. Maybe..." A pause. "Yeah."

"Well, you see why you had to leave that behind right?"

A long, quiet pause. "Yeah. I...I kind of want to go back..." she trails her fingers along the Sylvi-shaped gap. "It was nice in there. If I'd stayed longer...I wouldn't have wanted to leave at all."

"That's one reason... but another would be I wasn't sure if you'd come back the right age, or size"

A wide-eyed look. "Um...thanks for getting that right." She looks down at herself, just to check.

She thinks she's still the same age... god it would suck if she had come out as a childling in form

"You're welcome. I would not want to explain that to your folks if I couldn't" She admits

A short laugh. "Yeah. None of us want to go through my pre-teens again."
