"Welcome to the farm," Clem says as a certain Jessica arrives horse in tow

She swings off the horse; she's using a halter and leads, and a saddle blanket; that's practically bareback. "Thanks!" She grins and gives Clem a warrior's hug.

CLem grins returns it , "you seem in fine spirits. Ah my she is lovely" Looking at the horse, "Pure Chimera"

Jessica smiles and takes the blanket and one lead off. "I'm leaving the rest on till you meet everyone, ok? Just make it easier for them. Is that alright?"

OOC: SHe asking the horse or Clem ? 🙂

OOC HA! FyreMare.

BIC: The horse looks at her then says "That will be fine."

CLem blinks "SHe's intelli.. I am SO sorry" Clem looks apologetic

Jessica nods, flipping the remaining lead up over the 'Mare's neck. "I think she's smarter than I am." Jessica admits.

The chimera bumps her nose against Jessica 's chest "mmph hardly. I merely have horse sense"

"Same thing, most of the time."

Clem says "Why you sneaky girl, you didn't talk to me when I first saw you..."

"She didn't talk to me at first, either."

"See, don't take it personally, Chieftain. " A pause "Besides, you kept talking about how you wished you could breed me with your locals.. surely you would want to hear about THOSE plans were you me?"

Clem facepalms

Jess looks. "You did?"

"Flame here is a fine example of horse flesh...had I known she would have opinions to share I'd not have been so blunt" Clem mumbles

"Well, fair enough. " Jess says with a sigh.

"It's okay CLem, I've often noticed that Jessica and Duff might have an attractive foal..pardon me, child."

Jessica's jaw drops.

"That is so not happening."

Clem chuckles a bit

Jess gives Clem a GLARE.

Then Fyre/Flame (I forget her name) says "Now you, Clem? Your hips are nicely spaced for the task at hand... "

Jessica looks away... but manages to smirk with her -shoulders-.

Clem stops chuckling "OOOkaaaayyy... how about a rule where we do not casually discuss breeding each other?"

"What an excellent idea," Flame says as if surprised by the notion

Clem looks at Jessica, "I see what you mean about her being clever."

"Hmmphm."

"Well, you'll find you've got a classy stable with plenty of space... good feed, and we can leave the gate open for you so you can roam." Clem says to the horse "Now, Jessica, you have a choice of sharing my hut or having a smaller one but it's your own."

"Huh. I, um, I don't know." Blankly.

"You... um, you probably like your space."

"Hardly spend any time in it lately" She admits "Busy .."

"Yeah." Shifting her weight. "Same here."

"It's not where I used to stay either.. the Chieftain's Hut they call it... but it's quite large. Whoever is Chief gets to use it...along with guests, of course. Up to you though ...I don't mind but you might want YOUR Privacy"

A wry look. "Mmm. No. I can wander off if I need, you know. Me-time."

"Well then... this way" she leads her to the Hutwhich is actually liike a one story and a half. "It's a three bedroomer, and each room troll sized. Sometimes I miss my old spot, but others needed it more anyway. Lots of new blood."

A small smile. "Yeah. We outgrow places but....."

"But we always have a little piece of us behind" She opens the door, no risk of banging your head here.

".... and wish, sometimes, we could go back."

A look at her, "mmm Jessica... you worked hard for your hold, for your fief, but if you think someone else can do that job there, there's no shame in handing it over. Your folks would find plenty of work for you. Of course, you might find yourself frustrated for different reasons. Grass is often greener..."

Jess shakes her head. "Same to you?" She offers.

"This is my home, I'd be here whether chief or not. You were trhe bold one of the two of us.. I was the rabble rouser"

"Mph."

"Color me lazy, I stirred stuff up here instead of elsewhere."

She chuckles; the FyreMare has long since been relieved of bindings and gone to find.... company. "To each their own."

"Mind you, at times i do feel... well, like I've had to surrender some of my best questing years. Can't take the wild out of the wilder. I mean, I COULD Go, Got good folk to handle it temp... but I'm just enough of a bossybritches that I worry others won't do it like I would do it, and if something does go wrong, I'd rather it be me messing up so I know.. oh I probably sound crazy"

"Clem... me too. But. I'm here." A Brekke-worthy eyebrow.

"Mmm saying it IS possible huh?"
