He gestures "Because neither of us is Kinaian or blends so well" There's a troll. But what catches her eye first is his leg. Chimerically it looks like it's made of cogs and gears of brass. MOrtal wise, it's clearly a proesthetic. Only after that does she notice the troll wears colors of a noble service, black armored hammer thing on red and gold.

Her eyes widen, gaze fixated on the fascinating prosthetic... "Well, screw me gently, lookit that..."

She knows she should go back to Bix.. but... maybe if she looks just a bit longer she can see how it works?

"SIIISS" A hiss whisper

And the troll turns. Of course he did. Probably Bix's fault, but does he see?

"Can I help you?" the troll says

The other troll says that is.

"Um..." She looks at Bix, hugging her overload of books.

"No no, thank you..." Bix says

"If you're looking for the hold" He gestures "Just hit the old arcade near the museum, move the pacman game.. it's open to all"

"Can I see your leg?"

Bix buries his head in his hands.

The other troll, not much older than her or her brother, looks down, smiles, "it's a beauty isn't it? Oh sure.. come on though, let's avoid crowds"

"It's so shiny... did you make it?"

"Nope, though I wish I had. I am a programmer myself. I handle soft wear securities... firewalls, anti virus. Just seems to be my strong point" He says "Journeyman Presley ap Dougal, by the way."

"Mara." She looks down at her arms. "Can't shake, but hiya!"

"Yeah, you seem loaded down..." He says "nice to meet you Mara, and ..."

"Bix" Bix looks at the guy, "Bix Dunlow.. Sorry to trouble you. My sister's just, well, you know nockers?"

Presley nods "A few. Talented kith."

"All these for twenty four furkin' bucks!" she crows.

"Not bad" Presley says looking over the books he can see from this angle if the angle allows, "What's your interest?"

"Everything!"

"But I am fixing up a truck right now..."

"Hey, that's a good way to avoid banality if it's your thing, you know? People will always need a good mechanic. Heck, I was lucky to stumble into Coding myself, but cars aren't going anywhere soon. Electronic cars, self driving? Even the sons of Adam and ddaughters of eve are getting with that.." Presley nods

For a guy who is a membero f the house, Presley hardly SEEMS like amonster. Then again, Charles is Fiona and he's not so bad.

"Well, gotta get places, sure... but I don't just want to do the minimum, I want it to be cool too.

And he is a troll..so it's not like he's a sidhe.

"I hear you, Beauty is life, you know? " The Dougal says "I wouldn't like this leg near as much if it didn't have aesathetics"

"Oh, fork yeah. Why bother if you are gonna half-ass it?"

"Exactly," Presley says "Work not words, and Improve the Dreaming..two parts of the Dougal Code"

"How nice, you have a code.. Sis and I would love to talk but we really need to get back to shopping before we head back home on the other side of the state. Right , sis?" Bix says

"Right, right, I know..."

She grumbles a little. "Coulda just taken five minutes..."

"Are you out of your everloving gord?" Bix says "I don't how cute he is... you don't go walking into noble holds run by sidhe lords without the chief or someone else being okay and knowing. The last baron died at our old storm's hands, did you knwo that? Man brought war to us. NO reason to believe his successor is better"
