Kelby grins "is a frog's ass water tight?"

Sylvi laughs and gives her a hug. "Okay, unicorn-rider...let's go! Thanks, Mountain Emmitt!"

"Kelby, are't you forgetting something?"

Kelby was hugging her, but then blinks "I..oh shoot, chores"

The mountian takes out a piece of paper, and starts writing on it "Just to keep me as your favorite uncle. Here you might need this." He hands it over.

Sylvi looks over Kelby's shoulder and grins. "Also cheating, Mountain, but it's the kind of cheating I like." He gets a hug, too, before she's headed for the door. "I'll send some of my mom's cooking soon!"

Kelby hugs Uncle Emmit trying not to laugh with delight, and the old Grump magician smiles after he returns both hugs

"I like her rum cake, thanks for asking" Wryly

"Noted!" Sylvi calls back as she clatters down the cabin steps. "Come on, Kelby!"

Kelby is not far behind "I love Uncle Emmit SOOOO much"

"He's amazing!" Sylvi agrees. "Do you need to give that note to anybody, or is it a sort of get-out-of-jail card if anybody asks where you were?"

"I'll show it to Storm Murray on the way out, he'll spread the word but i'm keeping it with me too" As if i were gold then she looks again "Darn it, the old fox put a date on it"

Sylvi laughs. "Mountain Emmitt sure isn't stupid. Come on, race you to the bridge!" And she takes off.

Kelby soon catches up nd yes, surpasses her a bit. "HA. too slow town girl" Well, darn tomboys. At least Sylvi's got the charm of the two

Sylvi's definitely winded by the time they get to Storm Murray, so she's glad Kelby gets to do the talking there.

Murray looks at the note and rlls his eyes "Don't die. It would make Clem feel bad"//"Gee, thanks" She takes it, and they cross the bridge

"He's so sentimental," Sylvi pants.

"Okay, any idea where 'near your home' to start?"

"Well....it's a scepter, right? But...that means it's going to be shaped kind of like a wand, but it could be any material, really." A pause, and then she shakes her head. "Not a clue."

"I guess if it's something that was dropped...I mean, if somebody's traveling by trod, we should start near the bridge...."

"Sounds good to me" She says "Needles in haystacks it maybe, but i know how to handle a haystack"

And the two cross the bridge to Rivervale, for Questiing awaits!
