He smiles, "yeah, I know. Oh Zara, when I saw it, it was like I had to get it out of there no matter what. When I think of the history attached, the greed that tore it away, I am just grateful it's free again. You know thoe nazi bastards actually BURNED art rather than let it fall into Allies hands? After they stole it in the first place? And that bastard was gloating on how it was in his grips now."

"Bet he's not gloating now." She leans in, kissing his shoulder just above the dressing.

A kiss back, "Where should I return the painting to? The Israeli embassy? the local synagogue? "

"Well, Klimt was Austrian... I wonder if there are descendants?"

"Of the girl in the portrait, I mean..."

"Looks like internet searches and the like are on" He agrees

"If no relatives, then I would say we then go through other channels. Maybe you know some people in the art world? Despite the temptation to sneak it into an embassy..."

Then another thought "There was one other thing I grabbed, a plain canvas, it wasn't in a prized position, I kenned it behind a bundle of stuff in a ccloset, but I figured it better that go in fae hands. I should give it a look. See howw it works, what it does"

"well?" A raised brow and he looks over in the direction of the other prize "Zara...." her name somehow stretched out in that way he at times

"Twas an accident. And I did not feed your doppelganger glamour...." She goes to retrieve the canvas.

"My..what?" He blinks

As she touches the cavas it stirs. Smiling to see her. If she shows it to Earl, the painting waves to him.

Earl blinks, "That's..." He waves back, "Okay. How?"

"I believe I had a speck of your blood on my hand, when I touched it."

"And that's all it took? wow" He's ...actually impressed.

"Well, I believe it requires glamour to step beyond the canvas..."

"thats...traditionally, in tales, a bad idea." he says//The Image in the painting looks forlorn, making pleading eyes, just like the Earl does/ "Oh that's just embarrassing, who begs like that?" Earl humhs

"Could be an evil twin, or seek to replace you, or twist all of your traits into a mockery..."

"Right" he says eying it 'Smart thing is to not give it glamour"

"Well, how can you truly know what it is like?"

Earl looks at her and smiles "How come I get the feeling part of it is you want me to because you're curious ?"

The image was looking at Zara with fond adoration and seeming to agree with real earl.

Earl confesses, "you know what? " A low whisper, which she can hear fine, of course, "I actually am curious."

She kisses him on the cheek!

"You are!"

A blush "Okay, but if it becomes evil, we have to undo this... or whatever, okay?"

"Right, of course..."

"We could question it, ere we release it?"

"Well, you could, I suppose, it talks? It seems stuck on mute"

"Willow whisper?"

She leans towards the canvas. "So like my lover's lips, whisper to me, given voice by a kiss..." And her cool grey lips brush against the painted ones.

And the glamour flows, and she can affect it. Something not everyone can do

Zara.... turns very pink.

Earl looks at Zara onfused, why would she blush? But he knows she may have more questions and speaking to him might break the cantrip
