UP in the troll room of Firnost Earl has passed out and sleeping , Zara's presence setting him to comfort.

The tatting shuttle makes a soft clicking noise as she works the lace with needle and clever fingers.

1122 has settled on Earl's fair hair, squatting like the king of a strange hayfield.

The soft click of the shuttle is like an extra heartbeat in the room. And Lace is made at its proper pace. Yet, her dark eyes fall upon the 'prize' which she has not yet seen uncovered.

She tries to be good...

oh, she does. Click. Click.

But as time unwinds, and she finishes up her lace, well, this working... Earl still sleeps.

and the stolen goods await

A look.

....And another.

1122 has curled up in the hay of Earl's hair.

...Sleeping spider, sleeping Earl...

and still, the soft rhythm of the shuttle.

...would one peek be so bad?

Surely not, surely not- a lost jewish artwork? and...some glamour in there?

Silently, as only her kith may do, she slides out from her chair....

she makes her way to the...dross? treasure?

BUt does she open it?

....yes.

Yes she does.

Spidery fingers, so delicate and clever, undoing clasps...

Two objects come out, it is the non glamourous one that catches her eye. Art work Kilmt? A painting of a woman....

Oh, Klimt, yes - she knows the style... a REAL one!

Broken throat or no, she lets out a soft gasp.

The person who had this is a thief, not of pens, but of heritage, of legacy! And something in her mortal half and spiritual upbringing may feel...well, righteous ire at the thought.

She reverently sets the painting aside - returning it where it belongs may be quite a task, but one to handle after Earl heals.

BIC: The other object is a clear canvas of great, perhaps even greater antiquity. It has glamour about it, and... a water mark that instead of denoting a maker, seems to have a zodiac sign- that of gemini

She purses her lips, turning the glamorous canvas over in her hands.

It's a treasure, no doubt and... a bit of earl's blood, a dry flake really, touches it, and starts to spread! pink, then red hues begin to streak across the canvas.

A soft hiss.

Pink becomes red, and red turns purple, and purple turns blue as Earl's image appears upon the canvas, a perfect match to the last detail

A little smile, and her fingertips flutter over the image.

The painting smiles back, that slight escape of wolf teeth that happens when he sees her. The image glances over at this wounded shoulder, then looks back at her sheepishly.

"Oh, a wizard portrait..." But in her mind - that dream...

The painting holds up a hand, palms out, as if asking for bread or a coin.

"What do you want? Glamour?"

"That... that would be a foolish idea..." A look over at the sleeping giant.

A soft nod, hopeful

"I would speak to the true you, first."

A silent sigh, but rather than protest, the image nods. If it's a curse ready to spring, it's apparently quite reasonable about it

Earl stirs slightly, not quite awake, but easily woken

"Thank you for your understanding."

Another slight smile, so very much like Earl

And the image freezes in place, as if waiting until it is required

"Gemini, indeed. Tis June yet."

1122 rises up and looks over, and taps out 'Need me to wake him? What's that? Did I miss something?'
