CC and Caesar are talking in their kitchen, "But you don't want me to talkk to her yet? But she needs help."

That last from Caesar.

"And she'll run if we come on too strong," CC says, 'Caesar, this girl thinks her blood is corrupt. Yes, Tantalus was a bad man, but that doesn't mean she is. "

"I guess, what's William think?" He says "And don't tell me William thinks what you think." He smirks

"ha. it'd be so much easier if he did more often," She laughs

"You'd be bored and you know it," Caesar says "I don't claim to know half of what you two get up to, but you obviously enjoy whatever he's got going."

"Want details son?" She raises a brow.

"Gah, no, even as a satyr, no." He responds.

"Now, back to Magdalene?" She inquires, "Can you hold off?"

A frown, "I guess. But If I see her it's going to be hard. I act for commercials, not family."

"You're sneaker than youknow, I know that because you've got MY blood in you" She smiles.

He sighs "Okay, I will try ."He rises, "And thanks for letting me know about this. My head's still spinning. Seriously though, consider William's advice. Boggans have a ...knack." He notices her look, "And while I teach you to suck eggs..."

"Something like that," She nods, smiles a bit, "Okay, go on. Go play with a traggos or something."

"You joke, but I do infact havee a date soon."

"Oh, that pooka girl?" A smile

"No, no, A brown haired sidhe, thought about going for a redhead, but they're all taken or not interested" He grins and heads out.

She watches him go, thoughtfully playing with her glass. Once she hears the door close, "Honey, did you hear any or all of that?"

"Of course not." Mildly from the stairs.

"That would be eavesdropping. Naughty."

"Of course, my dear how silly of me to even wonder." She says 'I think Caesar is willing to be patient for Magdalene . And Caesar is seeing a bruentte sidhe"

"Hmph"

"Yes. I admit to having doubts."

"Those doubts can be.... removed." From the stairs, invisibly.

"I know dear, but wedon't know enough to commit to what needs to be done IF anything needs to be done. I don't hold them all in the same level of contempt . Though I do worry. He's not ready to deal with a Leanhaun."

"She's -Leanhaun-??"

Sharply.

"Not that I know of, but if it turns out she is..." Her eyes narrow "Sorry. I don't know what House she is. I'm just telling myself where lines are."

"Well. Fair enough." Grudgingly. "Do tell me when you know where the lines are."

"I've started to think Liam are at least useful, and Scathach are said to be 'commoner sidhe'. So that would be fine. I guess. I'm more leery of Leanhaun for obvious reasons. "

"Liam, by their own system, cannot be trusted, Dearest. Scathach.... well, they can be trusted. When paid. For as long as paid."

"Leanhaun.... fft."

"Well, I know how you feel about Gwydions. And I've had some bad encounters with them too."

"Hmmph"

"Sorry dear, but they are the one kith that seem to self label to the point of obsession. Might as well use it."

"Dearest, I would not agree more."

She pours him a drink, the way he likes it.

He descends from the upper level, fussy.

She gives him a kiss, the drink, and guides him to a seat, "I know. Just when I think I have that boy raised."

He takes the drink and the seat. "You did wonderfully well, Dearest. You know your boy. Boys."

He lifts his eyebrow.

She laughs at something. Then moves behind him to work his shoulders, "I tried. It's just hard not to try to yank hard on the apron strings even now."

He takes her hand and kisses it. "He's on board. Do you want me to find and follow him?"

"With Mag or the Sidhe?"

"Either. Or Caesar."

She kisses his cheek, "I think Magdalene is the one I worry about most if I think about it. My doubts aside, Caesar is more stable."

"Granted, absolutely. If you'd like her to go away, just say the word." He sips his drink.

"No one needs to vanish yet, dear." A pause but she goes on "We'll help my kithsister, and Caesar will let me know what's going on with this sidhe girl if it gets serious."

A little growl, but he shrugs. "Since I won the bet, I won't argue. How would you like to proceed, then?"

"I'd like you to let me tell you how wonderful it is having you in my life."
