Siv rolls her eyes

"Well, yes. But I would like to look nice for you. If it's not appealing, I would like to know. After all, it's my hair, but YOU'RE the one who has to look at it." She teases lightly.

Jonas looks touched at that, then says "All right. Turn around. Please?"

She does...

He runs his hands through her hair from behind, gently. Then he bends down and kisses the spot behind her ear, sending little promises through her body "I was worried it had gotten too stiff to touch like that, but no, it has more body without being stiff, and I can kiss you there without messing it up too much. I take it back. This is great" His voice rumbles near her

Piper shivers delightfully. "I'll accept that."

"Wait" Siv says, "Wait, is this why you SULKED for a week when I tried that gel? It wasn't the shade of blue, it was the feel of it?" She gawks at Jonas.

Jonas blushes lightly

Piper remembers that week, Jonas had been huffing and sighing a lot but when asked waved it off

"I thought it was the shade of blue, one degree off my usual and you moped" Siv arches a brow and crosses her arms, tapping her foot, in a way that reminds Piper a BIT of Kerri. That woman influences everyone

Jonas ahems "It wasn't the shade, no."

Siv looks at Piper "Reprimand our husband. Do the thing."

"Oh, we'll punish him later." Promises heavy in her own voice.

Jonas is smart enough to look nervous "Back to helping people here and trip plans?"

"We ought to make you turn into a whale and swim" Siv observes, but nods to Piper

"For now."

"Our Moby Dick." Piper says, with more of a hint of an evil smile... though certainly out of earshot of the kids.

THAT nickname is private!

Jonas endures it but there are worse nicknames

Siv kisses them both gently then says "Want me to talk to Shi, Captain to Captain, or the redfin chief?"

"I figured you'd want to catch up with her, Capn to Capn. For me.. I feel like I need a vacation from this Vacation."

Jonas nods "Enjoy the party part then. I'll work with the children and authorites on that angle. Siv will talk captain to Captain, and soon we'll be back home"

"Back in ALaska" Siv corrects "Got to pick up the kids"

Piper gets called by the crew, friends she's made... and does inded have a job.. to join the Redfins musicians and SING and play! Seems the crew bragged about her skills

She pomises to compose a tune about the Rimrunner for her next visit!

It's a wonderful party born of dark dangers, some grim realities now defeated, and a reunion of three people who love each other very much.

As to the criminals, well, Redfin justice is a subject for another time. For now... steel drums and dancing!
