Siv watches them with a smile, and says "Jonas, Love. The melody of our hearts has defeated the sea monster that would have hunted us. She... she apparently saved the day and maybe a lot of future"

“I’m sorry Siv. I couldn’t stand the thought of you spending even a day more avoiding the sea for our sake.”

"You goof.. I had the north seas and YOU, that would be enough" She huffs

“Siv.” Piper gives her a frank look. “ the north seas are COLD.”

To answer Jonas, she calls towards a door. “Mary, Antoine, Carolina? Dayana, Isla, Camilo?” She gently calls to the four girls and two boys who have been watched by Inky.

The children come forward, now enchanted they only know the Krumpus lady has saved them by taking care of the naughty, and she's not alone. Indeed, the inhuman features they see now put them at ease more than strangers of the human side would

Jonas squats, to lower himself ot their level "Hi. I'm Jonas. I want to help ,if you'll let me"

Piper says softly before they come over, “they were being used.” She does not elaborate.

He nods "I'm with her" He says jerking his head to Piper "And you are safe now. "

"You're with the Krumpus lady?" Mary asks

Siv blinks, then looks at PIper

Piper gives a sheepish grin. “If the hoof fits…”

“This is my husband Jonas, and our wife Siv.” Possibly the first time she’s introduced them as such! “They came to help us find your way home. Wherever that may be.”

Jonas beams at that. Siv smiles adoringly

Jonas nods "I work with a nice lady, and she's very good at this, but she taught me a lot. Tell you what... so you won't be worried how big I am..watch this."

And he shrinkes, to kid height, still a troll. It's adorable

"Ooo pocket Jonas" Siv grins

"Oh...." Pipers eyes well up and she tugs Siv over to whisper, "Maybe Valr will look like that some day..."

Jonas ignores that, as the kids gawk, then laugh and do relax

Siv whispers "You know, we could get them matching outfits. "

Jonas is talking to the children, learning what he can of where they are from, if they have parents, that sort of thing. It's soft, but Piper and Siv can see him restrain some anger at least once

He talks quite awhile, then goes over to his wives "Loves, at least two of them were sold by their parents"

Siv's jaw sets at that

"Well, they're not going back." Solidly.

JOnas nods approvingly at this "I think we all three agree on that" A glance to Siv

"I was going to say 'over my dead body' but I've a flare for the dramatic" Siv admits "We can find them good folk with Anne Marie's help and maybe some of the locals."

"A couple of them have the look of the islands. Maybe the RedFin would take them in? Or help them find placement? It might be ard for them to adapt to New Jersey." She suggests softly.

"Agreed" Siv nods "There looks to be a party but the RedFin chief seems reasonable and helpful... we can get a moment with her and Captain Shi to see how possible that is" A look at Piper "And I'll try not to be jelly you were using OTHER captains" A fuax sniff to lighten the mood

"Funny... the last time we had news of you coming by here before the Narwhal was damaged, I thought you said they were a stuck up bunch of hermits." She teases.

"I thought they were" She blushes "I mean, they helped me but it was like 'go back to Jersey' but in a prettier accent"

"Um, where are our babies?"

"With their bemo and grandpa" Siv smiles "In Alaska"

Jonas adds a bit wryly "At this rate, they'll both learn to love the cold"

"Did you remember warm coats? Sweaters, mittens?!"

"No no, I left one wolf pelt for the other wise nude babies to fight over it to test which was the survivor... as is trollish custom" Siv answers deadpan

Piper looks shocked for an entire second, then, "Haaahaaa." Dryly.

Siv dimples, "Yes yes, they're in full winter gear, and me folks know if they need more"

"I know we need to see things through with these kids... but I can't wait to get home as well."

"You two go back, I'll handle the paperwork" Jonas offers

"Mmmph. Then how would you get home?"

"I guess I could call after or maybe the RImrunner would give me a trip back?" He asks then stops "You do something to your hair?"

"It's looks GREAT" Siv adds

She grins. "I have a new stylist." She tells them about Inky and her other new friends on the crew.

Siv keeps looking at the hair "Okay, she's GOOD"

Jonas mmms "as long as you like it, Piper"

She frowns a little. "You don't like it?"

He senses a trap "I did not say that."

"Tell me what you think."

"I... think it looks nice? But so was your other hair before" He says "I .. you two do remember I'm a guy right?"
