Zane looks over at his cousin who has gotten quiet again, then looks over at the Hearth who did not answer him "Give her a mo, she'll come back to us. She's just blodnescreened"

She reaches over and gives Zane a pinch! "It's called savoring, try it sometimes, you black hole." A smile to the Hearth. "No dessert, thanks - I'm hoping to get at least a semblance of my pre-preggo figure back someday."

"OW" he says

A bit caught in savoring until the pinch himself

"Ah, well, I have some diet suggestions on that if you want, rich in iron but light in calories and more... " the Hearth says "But it is nice you appreciate fine food." A look at Zane 'THIS one goes 'out' to eat half the time"

"Hard to woo the ladies in mess hall, Hearth" Zane protests

"At least he's not living on hot pockets and totino's pizza rolls."

"Oh Zane!" A horrorified look from the Hearth

"She's exaggerating" Zane protests

"I USED to do that" He says assuring the Hearth "USED to"

The Hearth looks over at Piper "Wait, are YOU living on such?"

She laughs, "No, not since I was a teenager."

"Well, you maybe of Darkgate but if you're ever driven to such dire situations, come here for a true meal. No kithain should have to eat like a stray cat" The troll says as if speaking of high ideals

"Stray cats eat totino rolls?" Zane blinks, but the Hearth ignores him again, clearly if the satyr lad can't understand symbolism it isn't the troll's job to explain it

"If there is nothing else then?" Marsellies says to Piper "I should get back to my other duties"

She looks over at Zane. "How are we doing on time?"

"Actually, we should head back" He says "She might be done a bit early... boggans have that knack and shje sometimes 'Scotties' her time requirements... if you recall the ancient Trek lore"

"Neeeeeeeeeeeerd." She says as they trot back.

A snort of amusement.

As it turns out, they arrive and hardly wait anytime at all before Sparkles comes out carrying the reforged and reshaped amulet. "Oh good, quick, layer some magic in it while it's fresh"
