Sylvi is surprised to find herself exiting the trod side by side with Kelby

"Kelby? Wait...what...?" She looks back at the trod. What just happened? She tries to remember. There were...jumbo shrimp with handlebar mustaches and evil laughs?

There were definitely handle bar mustashes

"I keep telling you, City Girl, the trods got awash with some nasty stuff" Dame Kelby says "Fortunately my House is near as good as rovers at caring for trods. "

"Yeah, there was...I was with my dad, and Jordan was hurt..." She shakes her head. "Kelby, have you seen Colton? He wasn't answering his phone."

"Every phone got fried for a mile... even the landline" Kelby says "Big nightmare monster. From what i hear, we almost had no warning at all"

"But Colton's okay?" Her tone is insistent.

A pause "while that was going on at the gate, there was a major surge at the trod way... and, the Storm leads from the front." A breath "He got hurt, bad, but he's getting healed. Just.. so many need healing we're more focusing on stablizing"

"Show me where," she says. "I'll heal, you stabilize."

"He's already stable. Wounds cleaned. " A sigh "He's kind of pissed though. Maybe you'll cheer him up"

"Show me where," she repeats, then adds, "Please."

"Oh sorry, Danaan get scatterbrained.. and before you say i was scatterbrained before, i'm holding onto this excuse" She moves on in to the infirmaery where dozens of kithain and kinain lay in various states of injury and recovery. SOme friendlsy Chimera too. Why there's a dog in bandages that's in a cot next to.. COLTON!

Who looks pissy, but strokes the dog with his only hand

She feels immediately relieved on seeing him, then takes a breath and says, "Thanks, Kelby." A wan grin to her friend, then she moves over to Colton. "Gee, I move back down south, and suddenly you think you can spend all day in bed, huh?"

"Sylvi! " His frown vanishes "Hey, you're here? why.. is everyone okay in Rivervale? God I am glad to see you"

"Rivervale's okay. Some of our people were on the trods, but we're tracking them down. I tried to call you and you didn't answer, so..." She shrugs and sits next to him, taking his hand. "You got messed up, huh?"

he groans "I lost an arm three times now" he says gesturing to the space where an artificial limb was "Who loses 3 arms? "

"Again?!" She sighs. She hadn't even noticed, she'd just been so glad to see him alive. "I guess that's one of those tell-me-a-fact-to-prove-it's-you things now."

An 'are you serious?' look crosses his face, then he smirks and mouths "I know your o face, and what you cry out when i hit juuust the right spot'"

than goodness nos sluahg are nearby, but there ARE Boggans, he should be careful

Her eyes go wide, and her neck blushes. "Yeees, but I'd rather you mention the three missing arms if we're in public." A grin. She may be sex-positive, but she's no Fiona.

He looks A LITTLE contrite

"Do you remember how you lost it?" she asks, carefully stroking his shoulder above where the missing limb should be.

"The real one? Redcap, set up by then jerk knight. "

"Colton."

"Oh, the one I JUST Lost... " He shrugs "CHimera burst through, nasty monster... really hard to describe but wer'e talking giant Kaiju kind of zilla thing. One of my men fell in it's maw. I managed to catch him throw him out, but not get my own arm out in time... next thing I know I hear this horrible sound of it shuddering, stressing, starting to break. SO I got an idea... i was losing it anyway. SO.. I used it as part of a bunk"

She winces at the description of the arm breaking. Then she blinks. "Okay, that's smart. You just...detached it?"

"I tore it loose. Mixed time and holly strike.. then it exploded in his belly"

A serious look "Damned thing hurt Private Thunder"

She looks at the stump of his arm. "Holy crap...." A pause. "Is it...does it still hurt? Is there anything I can do?"

"Did you become a Gwydion while i wasn't looking?" He asks

"Huh?"

"That's a no. So. .no, doesn't hurt a bit" He says with a smile

a forced one

A wry grin, then she gets an odd look. "Wait...you don't mean that tearing it free hurt a lot. You mean...the chimera hurt..." She looks at the dog. "Private Thunder, I presume?"

the bandages dog wags. He's spotchy under that. One can see a resemblence to Signe

"Yup... From Silverwolf. Oh you haven't seen him or didn't knwo his name. Yeah, that's my buddy" Colton says

"Well, Private Thunder, thanks for keeping an eye on this lunk." She gives the dog a trollish salute.

PRivate thunder wags weakly

"Don't suppose you could use some spring magics on my dog? The other healers are.. putting kithain first, which I get but.." Colton sighs

"Yeah, I was just going to offer. Hang on...." She looks around. "I might be able to do something to help everybody, and I'll make sure Private Thunder is included." She squeezes his hand briefly before letting go and standing up to go in search of somebody in charge of healing supplies.

A boggan is carrying bandages and has nursing voile , she turns "Oh, are you hurt? Miss?" She looks Sylvi over

"No, I'm fine, but I want to help. I can do Spring magics. Can I get a big pot of water or something? Like a stew pot. I can work it so that it'll heal everybody to drinks from it, at least a little."

The boggan whirls around "MATILDA, Get out the Gatorade!"

"On it!" A voice yells back, and a big barrel of blue gatorade is rolled in

She smiles. "Perfect, but let me work on the water before you add the flavor...ing." She sees the barrel. "Um. Can dogs drink gatorade?"

"This sort. yes."

"if it gives him the shits he'll still be healther"

"Okay, great. So..." She requests a long-handled wood spoon as well, and once she has it she starts stirring the barrel of blue liquid, first very slowly, then faster, and faster, and she keeps stirring it as fast as she can for as long as she can manage without having the liquid spill out over the top.

They assist her, and soon, magic is stiring
