"But...listen, you need to sleep. Don't worry about figuring it out now."

"Sometimes it pays off" He says "But these are folks who reversed the right of rescue. And demense. I don't think this is a matter of relations because they are indvidiuals who are not of the area and have ruined association by default. I'll back your point, not because i don't think you could be firm if you have to be, but because it really seems more like MY duty than yours, and the Chief's most of all. He is judge here, among other things. You're not required to advocate for any of htem. I am required to hold them until trial. Anything YOU do on this is a kindness of charity, not a duty." He yawns "I think"

She relaxes a bit. "Okay. And thank you," she adds, slipping an arm around his waist. "Now, I think you were ordering me to bed before," she says quietly.

"Yeah, but if I order you to bed for what I want you to be for, neither of us will get sleep" A smile escapes lightly , wearily, but proud. Such pride. "Did you see our people fighting? Did you see that shield wall?"

She grins, steering him towards his room. "I did. You can tell they did that drill a lot. It was like clockwork."

"Yeah," A smile "it really paid off. They put in the work though. So that's how it goes, but damn" VERY proud

"Yup. You're not surprised they could do it, but awfully glad they did. Ya done good, Storm," she says as they get to his room.

"And you, were amazing," He nods "our greatest danger was risking losing the Code, losinng ourselves thereby" a kiss "But you were the epitome of the Code of Dagda, a beautiful bannner of what is right in our kith, and you reminded us all"

She grins and blushes. "Kelby's the one who reminded everybody, calling out for people to follow the Code."

"But you were the one who set the standard" He kisses her

He gets a kiss in return. "Thank you," she accepts the praise quietly. "Now, big damn hero...go to bed."

He tries to pull her to bed with him "Yes, Brridge, right away bridge..."

She grins. "I'm pretty sure you're going to pass right out as soon as you're horizontal," but she's not fighting him. Mostly she's trying to coax him to take his boots off before he lies down.

His boots come off, he kisses her "Mmmph.. the blood is enflamed but the muscles are wimpish" A sigh

"Well, at least you'll sleep warmly," she grins, pushing him into bed...and climbing in with him, at least to snuggle as he's drifting off. He gets another soft kiss. "You did good work, Storm."

"We all did.." A smile "Annd in the morningg if you here, I'll show you how I want to celebrrate victory" A kiss and then.. he does fall asleep.

He's terribly comfy

She chuckles a little at his last comment, and then...oh, yes...yes, he is terribly comfy....

...and soon she's out like a light, as well.
