"Of course," she mutters, amused. She puts the info in her phone.

"Hey, I'm thinking of stopping down at the Lodge for a quick visit tomorrow, via the trod. A few hours. That is, if I'm not needed here."

Flopsy says "well, if your'e asking ME you have my approval if you're asking your new boss you'll have to leave your office"

At that point, there's a knock

"Yeah, I... Oh. Come in!"

"They told me I'd find you here, City Girl" the door opens "Saw two folks leave looking happier than when they left. If folks would just do what you want it'd be a better place huh?" teasing tone in a famliar voice of a friend

One who should be dead

Kelby smiles

"K-" A blink. "Kelby." A statement. "Kelby...?"

She sits down heavily in her chair, staring.

"Yep, in the flesh. You don't remember the Yulestar road do you? Guess you wouldn't i..." She notices her friend's look "Maybe you want to go with me get a drink? Or we can talk in here and see if I can find something to drink for us. You look a bit like you got kicked by a draft horse"

"I...wow." She shakes her head as if to clear it. "Yeah, there was...a weird trod? And...you were there. And...wow...I remembered long enough to tell Dad, I know that, but...then I forgot." She blushes. "Um...hi?" She stands again, and looks like she's not sure whether or not a hug is okay.

Flopsy mutters "Drinks, perhaps a holy symbol for exorcism, you know whatever"

"Flopsy, you're still a grumbly bunny" Kelby says. She's wearing a black dragon head design on a red tabard, but she moves forward and gives Sylvi a BIG Iowa hug

"No, Flopsy, it's cool. I remember. I didn't, but...I do now." Then a laugh. "Wow, that kind of memory rush makes a person dizzy."

And she gets a big Rivervale hug right back. "Geez, Kelby. I mean...geez." A sniff. "Sorry I forgot...."

"Not your fault. I mean, a lot was going on. Besides, it's the mundane things I can't remember. PHone numbers, how to drive" A sigh "I mean, it usually comes back but geez. You look GOOD. Are you doing more make up voodoo?"

A weak laugh. "My dead best friend who isn't dead is hugging me and wants to talk make up voodoo. Sounds about right." Another sniff and she lets go, wiping her eyes carefully. "You know, I think drinks would be a really, really good idea."

"Come on then" Kelby takes her arm "I owe you some explanations, but first I owe you a drink" And they head off. Flopssy tagging along
