Pennons isn't something CC takes part in normally, at least not the one where nobles are judges... and the prize is getting their patronage.

But that doesn't stop some events from occuring

"Nobles horse racing on OUR Street" She sighs

William is fuming, sulking, and poor company.

CC isn't much happier.

"Think we should risk a foul fortune on them, or the horse, or a saddle?" A hurumph

"Mmph. The horses are relatively innocent."

"Fair point" She says as the lovely fae steeds shoot along for another lap

"Hmmph."

"At least there..." A brow lift "Oh no"

A sidhe, on foot, is approaching their house

"It's like they want to die" She whispers to herself

"Mmph?" sullenly curious as to what she's muttering about.

"A sidhe is about to knock on our door I think" She says

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Case in point" She sighs "Shall I get it?"

OH that is a DARK look he casts at the door; it's a wonder the wood doesn't shrivel in its frame. "I cannot recommend it." softly "We didn't let the lawn care Kith in, why would we open the door to .... that."

"You've a point, we can wait until he leaves , lay low?" She makes sure they're not in view of the windows

He's sitting in his armchair, bourbon in hand. "Mm." softly.

Another set of knocks

They continue to ignore it... then feel glamour

"Unlock" the sidhe says

Dictuming their door!

A soft hiss, and he's up and making his way upstairs at a surprising rate of speed.

"Son of a ..."

CC casts veil on herself

The sidhe helps himself in "Glad no one is here"

Upstairs, he gets armed, fast. A few little friends, sharp and silver. A powder, a liquid. And something more mundane, but with range; a 'lifecard' with three shots.

And ready for anything he...
