"I'm not sure that's best, Dearest. You are deeply invested here; if things were to go ... wrong... and extraction was needed, you'd have to leave all of this behind. Family, friends, the Club...."

At that, she makes a face, partly because he's right "All that IS true. But I still hate feeling like we're ... mmmph no longer forces to be reckoned with?"

"Oh... in our own way, our -new- ways... I think we are."

"Mmm? How do you think? I don't deny it, but I think my ego needs to hear it" A smile at that

"We have made a small mark together, I think. Some freeholds freer, some nobles less so. Common people lifted up from their ordained station to greater things...."

"And you and I do inspire a few dreamers to dream of independence and freedom when we can" She concedes with pride.

"Also true."

"I suppose we'll leave that kNight shade us to someone else. Still hope it ends up taking out the RIGHT knight though"

A sigh. "Yes. We can but hope."

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to keep it. For now. Till we find someone to take it. Keep it safe, for now?"

"Certainly wouldn't. If you think we can cultivate it, though I hear it is hard, you could even try to use it to grow another" She encourages

"Mmm...." tempted, but ".... it could draw the wrong kind of attention."

"Darling, you can be the soul of discretion. " she has faith in him

"Undoubtedly but my concern was more about those that might use Arts to discover it."

"Oh that we can shield against I suspect. Honestly, if it were that easy to track the nobles would have really wiped it all out"

He gives her a dour look "Dearest, there -are- places nobles have the greatest of difficulty finding, and others still they find it expedient to turn a blind eye to. Much can be hidden in these places."

"I see. " Mmmm "The farmhold might help"

"But they're a bit squeemish about poisons"

His dour look goes sour. "No playing with trolls, hm? And the Farmhold is allied with Rivervale."

"So cranky" She says "Fine. Do you want to set up the herbs in a special location away from here and visit now and then? A side hobby?"

She smiles "Or maybe covertly plant it in some stupid noble's grounds, then sneak on once a month to see how it is growing?"

"Mmm... I confess to feeling greedy and covetous. I'd like to keep it here until we can propagate it, and then plant it around a few unvisited corners."

"You deserve some greedy time. I haven't been blind to you fixing things around here sometimes even before I ask"

"Tsk. One does what needs doing."

"I don't enjoy parking MY Butt under the sink and banging my horns, so I shall thank you, so there" She sticks her tongue out playfully

He chuckles and rises from his seat, coming to take her in his arms. "Now now, you start talking about your butt and banging horns and I will become distracted."

She laughs in his arms and leans against him, "You're the only man I know who finds the idea of my horns caught in sink pipes sexy."

"Dearest, there are entire pornography genres based on the idea of a sexually potent woman being traps in just such a compromising positions."

"You don't say?" A gasp of faux innocence , which soon turns sly "Like any of them?"

"Oh, there are a few that one might while away the time with, but none of them compare with the mental image of you, trapped and needing release, under the sink." with a wicked gleam in his eye.

"Should I get my apron and yellow rubber gloves?" Her own eyes shine a bit naughtily

"Mm... if you like." then he looks a bit abashed "Perhaps we could fast forward the film a bit; I may have tweaked my back a touch during that last repair and perhaps more comfortable environs....?"

"Oh baby" she looks worried and strokes his cheek, "Sure...We'll go easy"

And she gently guides him off, she grabs yellow rubber gloves along the way
