And yes, his hand keeps hers; not captive, but in a warm, loose hold whenever she likes.

She likes it a lot, "When Summer winds down, some folks will have less free time, not a slow down extreme, but a minor one... until halloween time anyway"

"I was thinking we could take some time off, a weekend, but this time you pick the locale and iternerary. I don't always ask what you like to do. It could be a fishing trip if you want, just don't ask me to clean it" A smile

He laughs softly "Dearest, do you take me for the outdoorsy type?"

"not really" she laughs back "But if you are, I really should learn of it by now"

"Rest assured, I enjoy home, a fine drink, a good pipe, and warm, supple company far more than bugs and weather." he pauses, considering "I have heard of something called 'glamping.'"

"Isn't that where you get some fancy RV with Wifi, AC, and a kitchenette, park it at some campsite, and pretend you're roughing it?"

"Mm... that's one way. I think there's also some that are cabins, or heavy canvas tents permanently installed on a platform? And hotel type amenities; food service, recreation, so on. Glamour camping.... glamping."

"ooo... Cabin sounds picturesque"

"Outhouses, less so." dryly.

"Well, yes .. there is that" She admits "We'll make do."

"As we always do."

"I like the idea, glamping" She smiles

"Then we shall do it."

"I'll make sure the schedule is cleared" A smile

"Oh, let me see when we can get a reservation and what will work before you go to any trouble."

"As you like" She accedes "Very nice of you"

"Mmm. Maybe it will do me some good to see sunshine and feel fresh air on my... skin."

"I'll bring the sun screen"

He chuckles. "Large floppy hats and oversized, loose shirts.

"Oooh a Hawaiian shirt to complete the look? Bright and bold"

A long-suffering sigh "If you like."

"I could ask you to dress like Magnum PI, mustach and glasees and all"

"You could -ask-...."

A WIDE grin

Another suffering sigh "Oh, who am I kidding. I'll wear whatever pleases you."

She gives him a kiss over the table, then says "You get to destroy any evidence of the event"

"That assumes I'd want to, but thank you." with a wink.

"I love you" She smiles

And they dine
