"I believe the Farm and the Club have a wealth of connections already." dryly.

"Hey, you're looking to nip some of our young talent, sides, CC" He says "You just know there's a chance some of your grandkids will love the farm life and never want to leave"

"They need a rumspriga or whatever it's called, eventually" CC hmmphs

Emerson wisely sips his drink and pours one for Miss CC as well.

"That is a DeBuke tradition" he admits

"Well thhere you go" CC nods, then more gently "Murray, you ever get tired of the farm, visit us any time. " SHe looks to Emerson to see if he agrees

A nod; he agrees.

"Thanks. As Storm I can't go goofing off too much, but everyone needs a change of scenery"

"As the saying goes, a change is as good as a rest."

"Yeah, we got that one too" Murray says, then his eyes narrow "You guys realize you've got someone peeking in the window here and ducking again?" Troll senses aren't as good as Sluagh, but they're a not so distant 2nd

Emerson glances casually.

He's right... there's a bit of hair there. For a moment he expected rabbit years, but nope

"Pardon." he rises and goes over to Hugh "There's someone outside the window there... be a good chap and see what's going on?"

Hugh nods and goes out to see

Stodgepole will wait there, for a report.

The pooka returns "Well, this huge guy was totally ready to burst in here and take the place for Spain, boss"

Now Hugh is a pooka, but he has a pattern, and SPAIN indicates nobles are involved

But Hugh doesn't seem TOO concerned

An eyebrow. "Indeed? And where is he now?"

"I told him I'd card him" Ah ha, a childling... "And to have a nice day" He was polite but firm

"Well done, Hugh, thank you."

The rotweiler pooka practically wags

"Thanks, Boss. Want me to go where he was and..." He makes a sniffing sound "You know, while wearing my other suit?"

"I think that would be wise, yes."

Hugh looks delighted "On it like rice on white" And off he goes again, soon to be on four feet with a far better nose

This might take longer; Emerson returns to the table. "Hugh is on it."

"Good eye, Murray" CC says "Thank you"

"Hopefully it's nothing" Murray tells her, but he's finished his meal "I was thinking of asking you two if I could stay overnight?" He means at THEIR small hold on the otherside of the club

"Of course, it would be our honor."

"Much obliged. I don't want to 'walk' back and forth while Iceni makes up her mind" He says and rises "Great food and show as always"

CC nods "Glad you like"

And Murray heads back to camp near their bale and rest

CC says "Interesting. He's hanging in town" A look at Emerson "Which I'd normally be all over, but I'm curious what Hugh found?"

"Mm, yes. I have a sense of things but I'd like more time to observe. As to Hugh....we will see."

"Let me know if you need help?"

"Of course!"

She kisses his cheek, then says "Murray has a sensible head on his shoulders."

"Sensible, dependable, trollish...."

"but less limited than his seelie kin"

"Mmm."

"You're not asking me why I pushed for some wilders to train in our biz?"

"Someone has to run the place after we're gone and Caesar owns it?"

"That's one reason, yes" A sip

"And?"

"We're going to get a troll or troll kin lad or lass, two, and you know they'll be sent with a warning not to take up ALL our habits. You like a challenge. You're welcome"

A chuckle. "Thank you, Dearest."

"Also, the other thing" A nod

"Which is?"

"Oh what you said, good help for Caesar"

She rises "And time for my last set. Love you" She says, and glides off
