He takes a small knock. "Thank you." and passes it back; his color is returning to normal. "Dare I ask?"

CC looks winded herself, satyress or no she's not as young as she used to be either, but she fusses over Emerson "I didn't realize they didn't approve of my business there. Dawson took it personally and put some of their products in the toilet and plumbing when they wouldn't apologize." A look at the boy "You sure you're not part troll being protective?"

Slyfoot 's ears go up like a halo, "Only on the interwebs"

"Have a touch yourself, Dearest." he urges her, for the medicinal value.

She takes it and takes a brief swig "Thank you" She haands it back

He passes it back again, indicating her purse (or wherever she pulled it from).

"I -did- tell you, did I not, boy?" sternly "About the urge for such pranks?"

The boy hangs his head "Well, you told me a little ....." Underplaying it not out of defiance but as he is a pooka "but Miss BB is nice.... and they shouldn't have said those horrible things about her and put them in the gossip columns"

CC puts the flask away

"Miss CC is entirely, eminently, able to take care of herself in that regard." still stern.

"Trust me on this."

"He's right, Slyfoot" CC nods supporting Emerson, "I have been called worse, and if I felt insulted, I handled it." She doesn't mention that Emerson himself has taken action now and then and she knows about it. As a rule, he works with her rather than for her though

The boy taps his foot nervously like a rabbit thump, repeatedly, and he looks down "I'm sorrier than any boy has ever sorried afore?"

CC looks at Emerson, carefully hiding from the boy how adorable she finds him, so not to undermine emerson's lesson

"You are young, in many ways, and still learning. There have been those of our nature who came to know themselves in our season; wealthy in years and experience in some ways, and very new and raw in other ways."

"Well, I didn't like them saying mean things to a nice lady like FF" The boy scratches his head "I know that. But I'm sorry if I didn't listen, Fairy God father . I'll try harder bester "

He DOES look as sincere as a pooka gets

The Godfather nods. "Done."

"Now... if we are all quite recovered, shall we try to make it to Firnost in one piece?"

The boy beams at the renewed chance. Eager to please even if a bit rascally

"Yes, your burliness" He says and readies to follow

CC has to cover another smile "Let's go. "

He heaves himself up with a sigh and off they set.

And off they go to Firnost (Moved to KC)
