"Call May Maude. She's got some updates I' m sure"

"Oo. Good idea Dearest. I was looking too far into the past, when the present is right here..." he dials and waits to be connected.

To his delight, he doesn't have to wait long

"Oh, just dandy!" he assures her "Thriving, in fact, although of course they look forward to your visits."

"I hope you are well? Where are you, these days?"

"Oh, I thought it might be nice to touch base, see how you are doing. I've had an interesting question come up."

"Safe to talk about in first class?"

"Mmm.... perhaps not."

"Give me 2 hours and I'll call you back?"

He disconnects and relates the matter to Callidora.

Callidora looks him over listening as she puts his food before him "First class? Who does she think she is, James Bond?"

"Dearest, we -did- promise to pay for her ... collaboration with Caesar, to allow her to persue her passions."

"And she's been useful I'm sure, but if she tries to haggle or bargain for more from us, just remind her if it wasn't for you she wouldn't be flying first from Milwaaukee, let alone Spain"

"Mm. More to the point, if it weren't for -Caesar and the competition between sisters.... but I take your meaning."

"Now try those eggs. I want to make sure the peppering is perfect"

"Mmm...." he digs in, and of course, it's perfect.

She looks pleased at his happy sounds "Thank you. " She joins him for break fast properly

Companionable munching.

They enjoy the meal when the call comes in

William wipes his mouth and answers after checking the number.

"Oh, but do we really consider these little assignments -work-? The word sounds so... onerous."

"I have called it a hunt once or twice," She offers up that option

"I can." She nods "Even have a built in VPN though that's hardly perfect"

"Are you aware of any potential targets that might benefit from an encounter? I have an operative that is looking for a first-work."
