"Oh, yes! That is what makes it fun."

"I'm sure we have something in the kitchen." and Stodgepole, having locked the door after the last of the guests have gone and the staff is cleaning down, steps away for a moment.

"My own beau, I do not get to chase."

"Oh she likes the mousey types. How fitting"

Stodgepole returns with a couple of tuna fish sandwiches and some chips. "I hope this suits."

She claps her hands together in delight. "My diet shall be ruined."

He smiles and nods to Miss CC, then moves on to check on the staff, count the register, and close out the day.

"Somehhow I think you'll survive" CC assures. She does however insist on stealing a kiss from Emerson before he goes to check on things

She does not, however, sit idly. Sandwich in hand, she trots curiously after Emerson, watching his duties, a feline shadow.

She will follow him right into the back/kitchen if not stopped...

CC lets her. Tickled

A kiss needn't be stolen, it is freely given. And a shadow is fine; it's mostly boring stuff like cleaning, counting, and business bits like scheduling.

Shiny pan! Oh, a sauce to taste. Nose into this - ACK, it was a jar of hot pepper.

One troll cook eyes the pooka "You get into the kitchen you get put to work" Teensy

"Work? No, no, I am a guest." She waves the sandwich as if to show off a pass.

Munch.

Chef Teensy's eyes narrow "You're going to be a guest with a broom in your hand if you don't stay out of the way"

She darts out of the way, a cat knows to avoid a broom! Perched on a clean counter. "This sandwich is quite possibly, the fourth, or fifth, finest sandwich I have eaten today."

"mmph. The boss made that one"

"Madame C of C?"

"Mr. Stodepoole, though both are excellent cooks. She tends to leave that for her own home though"

"Need any help with the clear-down, Teensy?" the boggan asks.

"I was just offering to help." She says, licking her fingers clean.

"Prefer to handle it myself, boss"

"Awww, but, my broom." She says with regret shining in her eyes.

"Up to you, Teensy."

"Just me, thanks"

Teensy is clearly NO fun

"Hot and cold, Itsy Bitsy. One moment offering a broom, the next sweeping it away. It's enough to break a girl's heart." She wipes away a tear.

"Come along, Carmine." he encourages, and heads back out. "How's clear-down going?" he calls to the bartender.

"Pretty smoothly, sir." He says

"I've got a table to wipe down or two after I'm done with the counter"

She hops down and follow after. "A business all your own." She admires.

"Folks, how is the sidework going?" he calls to the servers and bussers before repsonding to Carmine. "It does, for us. Something to keep us busy and active."

One server looks annoyed, but not at her boss , "Some jackass stuck gum under the table. Who does that over the age of 12?"

Her nose wrinkles in disgust. "Rude people. Shall I track them down, and glue their pestilent mouths shut? Oh, shall I?"

"Oh wow, I like her" The server smiles

"Get it off for now, and we'll do a deep clean later. Just get the salt and pepper done and the napkins rolled." he never mentioned that HE will take care of the gum, thank you. While they are still on the clock, they are payroll....

A pout, seemingly ignored.

"yes sir" The server says, then nods to Carmine "Still like your idea" But she does as told

Finally she steps right in front of Emerson. "I want to help!" A little foot stomp.

CC turns at this having watched, but lets Emerson handle it

"Mm." he looks a bit skeptical but is too polite to suggest anything negative "I suppose.... vacuum the House?"

“Which House? Aesthetically I must say that Fiona has style, but they sound exhausting in person…”

"Ahem. The Club. The front-of-house area we hosts guests in."

“So, no lions, falcons, or dragons? Oh, my.”

"No, none of those. Did you -really- want some? To, ahem, vacuum up?"

“To suck into the bag with all the dust and crumbs and little bits of garbage? It DOES seem fitting, no?”

"Oh, I'm sure I couldn't say." he tilts his head "I could show you where the custodial closet is. I don't mean metaphorically; we need to close the Club down before we go further."

CC walks over looking amused. A new martini in her hand "Trouble?"
