He pauses a moment.... "Wilde, will you give us the room please?"

"Sure" She nods and slips out

He closes the door (head outside) and leans against it. "I ... admit I am not accustomed to direct combat anymore." he takes a breath, exhales slowly "I am a bit... at loose ends."

She moves to him and DOES look him over

"We should get yo by the bale"

"I am -fine-." firmly "Just... rattled by battle."

He scrubs his face with both hands.

"I'll be fine." he assures her.

"In fact, a quick bout of cleaning might be just the ticket."

"And there is a certain amount of, well, disposal that needs to happen."

"I know, but we spoil you rotten later. Pipe, good drink, the whole ball of wax"

"Yes but... later. Will you go home, wait for me there?"

"I don't like this, you shouldn't be stuck with all the drama and trauma" She tells him "But if you insist and IF it will set your mind at ease?"

A weak chuckle "I know myself well enough, Dearest. Danger over, threat resolved? Let me clean. It is what I am."

She kisses him deeply then parts "Baby you are ALL that and a bag of chips. But okay"

"I will meet you at home."

And he turns, departs, taking the head with him.

And she goes as she promised

Emerson will do what he can to shoo the security (well warned and rewarded and quieted) out and then indulges in ... well, root-level boggan work.

It's almost soothing to make something dirty clean again, to make a difference

Just so.

And he does in an hour what would take most 6

Blood is SO Stubborn! JUST what he hoped to avoid.....

And vampire blood seems to really want to stain. Vengeance beyond the grave indeed

CLUB SODA.

Always a winner and for a reason! Soon he's got the worst of it out and then some

It might take an hour... maybe two... but when he's able to accept the work he's ready to go home.

When he gets home, he finds a warm fire (Non bale, of course), the smell of hsi favorite food

"I might shower, Dearest?"

"Bathwater already drawn, love" She smiles

A chuckle "I'll be back soonest....." And he goes upstairs.

He warms and soaks for minutes, feeling aches soak out, as he soaps and gets the crud and dead vampire smell off

And ... eventually.... he is done.

"Long bath, did you enjoy?" SHe says as he comes out

"I feel cleaner." He admits.

"Dearest... miight I hold you: A bit?"

"You may hold me.. a lot" She smiles

So he comes to her, and holds her.

It might take a time.

She seems tohave all the time in the world "I'm safe. You're safe. I love you"
