"True. " She touches the urn "I wish I knew what they were. Satyrs? Boggans? Redcaps? Sluagh?"

"Mmm.." An idea stirs, and she starts to cast omen. WHich could be dnagerous

"Dearest.... " a quiet warning but not too much; she's more than capable, and already cranky.

"I know I know if I blow this I could have one of my singers taken over by a redcap"

"Or worse." grimly.

She concentrates and sings wordlessly, an aria of no meaning, just tonal and it's lovely

she blinks then sighs "Well, that was vague"

"I saw an image of a smuggler's ship"

SHe ponders "Dangerous to try again"

"Could try a willowwhisper, but more likely to get the Urn's attention than trhe souls in it"

"A smuggler's ship... maybe this urn was used to smuggle Fae souls? Where, though, and why?"

"pure souls, ancient" she ponders "if they're that old then.." A thought "Darling, is it possible they were trying to get into Arcadia?"

"The Paths weren't closed then, according to our histories."

"Interesting... " She says "You want to risk an omen too, or a whisper? Or have we pushed our luck?"

"Well, I could do no less than you have attempted." he nods and gets some dross to help him.

She knocks on wood

He responds by knocking on his own skull, enacting the bunk.

Again, the magic seems to shake the urn, direct glamour insertion might set it loose entirely. Foirtunately he's careful and the glamour falls about it more than thusting home

and he knows he's got a question or two to whisper

"Who is inside you?"

"Five souls, five seeds, five smuglers of themselves. Stowaways who failed to achieve Arcadia's gate by hiding in what was meant for sidhe soul instead. Each soul a different dream or nightmare, each now with no vessel, save me. "

CC arches a brow as it whispers that.

He risks a glance at Callidora.

"Why were they seeking Arcadia?"

"I am old, but much later after I was made, the gates finally began to crumble. The lords took front of the line for themselves and their 'loyal' subjects... the five sought Arcadia to survive the doom of the shattering and sundering ... and used a Sidhe's relic to do so. Alas.. I never made it, and neither did they. THey wanted to live, they felt they had as much right to Arcadia as any one"

and.. it sputters

Then CC says "So I was right, but so were you. THe urn predates the intregim, but it belonged to some sidhe lord and rather than take the changeling way, non sidhe smugled their fae souls in it hoping to sneak into paradise rather than be left behind for the long winter?"

"It seems so." he continues to regard the urn "Perhaps...."

'Sounds like more than one kith in there 'different dream or nightmare' " A brow of consideration "So at least one sluagh or redcap? All of us are dreams, but the nightmare side is ... well, more limited"

"Depending on your definition, Dearest."

"A far point" She admits "I supose we can all be nightmares"

Thoughts do occur. THese guys may have been no friends of the sidhe nobles. They felt betrayeed and thought this world would likey kill them, and at that time many did fade. THey also might have some powerful magic, or powerful magic items. Things lost that will return when they take bodies. Just like the sidhe did in 69 . And lastly, he can narrow down where the bodies they take might be by choosing the locale or crowd. Some of these he may have already figured out, bt they do come to mind

"We could... perhaps... buy good will?"

"What do you mean, lover?"

"YOu mean the newcomers will owe us? Possible if that's what you're saying"

"Perhaps we can help them to find mutually-compatible homes?"

A pause then "Honey, do we know any members of the uppercrust?"

"I mean, why should the sidhe have all the fun?"

"I know some, yes. We don't brag, of course."

"I've met a few too but you do filter in. We could think of it as body blocking sidhe. "

He has a few options that would do. Some even come to the club, infrequently though they always pick either secluded or top seating.

1. There are the Jouvessac family, very old money. At least as old as the Lousiana Purchase where their french ancestors got a head start in making some American investments. They are definitely more American than French now, but consist of the Father, who is into 'investing' (In short he doesn't have to work), the mother, who is an art collector (A rigged set up if you know how to bend the rules), their daughter who is not yet 21 (He knows because they 'joked' about it at the club) and her brother who is in his late teens. That's only four bodies, but they often have a maid with them.
