He bustles into the office and hides the urn away there before returning to the Front of House to check in with the staff.

(Dex plus ALertness to avoid bumping into someone, dropping the urn, and causing chaos , Dif 5)

The staff is doing steady work, it's not prime hours so it's not the rush or crush at this time. They nod to him as they go about their tasks or pause if he has words for them

He moves about, keeping an eye on Callidora's performance and touching base with each staff member.

Security is tight, of course, mostly focused on Miss CC as it should be.

One of the bartenders fills him in "It's a bigger crowd than usual for a non prime time, but nothing we can't handle sir. Just following procedures. I haven't noticed any trouble makers. The bachelorite party is actually pretty well behaved"

"Comp them a bottle of sparkling wine."

"Will do" He says, then smiles "You realize they're STILL Gonna call it Champagne?"

"Yes." with a thin smile "I do."

"Right, back to work for me. Sparkling wine comped for bachelorette party upstairs" A smile "Anything else?"

CC has finished her second number and is about to take a break while the band takes over

"No, that will do for now." he goes to meet Callidora backstage.

Callidora greets him with a kiss, then eyes security near her "Five minutes, Wheeler, can I have five minutes?"

"Sorry ma'am" Wheeler says but looks at Emerson to be sure it's okay

"I will take responsibility, Wheeler, thank you. We're in the Club, and going to the office."

"Noted, Sir" he steps back

CC's eyees narrow, but she walks with Emerson to the office "Oh this can't be over soon enough"

"Come see what I found." he teases, changing the topics.

A curious brow lift, "Last time a guy said that, he lured me into a shower for flute lessons" But they go into the office and when she sees the urn she blinks "What.."She touches it "Holy crap.. I know what this feels like"

"Souls."

"Fae souls..." She says then frowns "Oh son of a bit, nobles in a can? WHere's a safe and a deep lake?"

But he's sure they are not sidhe. the dreams feel wrong. He had a really good insight

"No, Dearest. I have a feeling about this; no elves within, at least, none to worry us. Commoners have souls too, after all."

"Yes but we went the changeling way, the.." She eyes the urn "Unless this is.. wow. VERY Old. Does this predate the changeling way?"

"I believe it does." he gives her the date he got from the paperwork in the hotel.

A curious look "So.. we drop it in the local abbey and seee what the nuns come out as?"

He laughs. "To be completely and uncharacteristically honest, Dearest, I'm not sure -what- to do with it!"

"Neither am I" She says "But we have to do something with it. I'm sorry. I've been couped upand watched. I can't stand for fellow commoners to be the same" SHe ponders "I mean, yes I Suppose I should be thinking 'how can this work for me' but..." a shrug

Her William stares at the urn for a moment. "I wonder...."

"Yes?" She says, almost bouncing on her hooves.

"Might this be of use in the upcoming events? Don't blood suckers have an ... adverse reaction to our blood? I have heard stories."

"I'm.. yo uwant to bring new changelings into this world so they can be fed to a vampire?"

"No! I'm wondering if the ... onslaught of so many pent up Fae souls might not ... be of use to us in some kind of distraction? Ah, nevermind." a little crestfallen.

She huffs "I love you, but honestly not everything has to be about me being safe. I swear you're turning blue over this"

"I would be a fool not to use every advantage possible, Dearest!" he protest "If these Fae souls could... I don't know. Possess? Drive mad? Destroy? this creature OR his minion, should we not explore that?"

"First of all, our blood in them is not always good. Some get a taste for it.. or so rumors say. Yes others are overwhelmed, and they're often enchanted which can freak them out but also makes them dangerous. It's a gamble, and more than that a waste of commoner lives. If were some sidhe you fed on a platter well, I know you have to be you. THOSE bastards have every advantage. Barring a few liams you won't see them stuck in some homelss body for example. But let's not lob some commoner souls just to see them possess and get snuffed"

"Fine fine fine... just wondering, Dearest." he grumbles.

"Sorry, lover, this is my fault. I knew you were monomonical , I liked that focus but now the focus is defending me and I'm getting surly , which is unfair as ssecruity is necessary. I just... remember when the fun stuff was cutting noble legs out from under them? Maybe we can use this for that?"

"Sic the creature on a noble?"

For a moment, she rubs between her horns, a sign she feels a migrane coming on

"No, the urn." he corrects, abashed. "Sorry."

"Tired of prodigal talk yes" SHe sighs "I meant the urn, couldn't we use it somehow to hinder some nobles or at least balance some scales?"
