"I don't think most vampires 'try' to be banal." She says

His brow is going to be permenently furrowed at this rate. "I loathe the idea of working at a disadvantage, and attacking on his home ground is certainly that. Aren't they weaker when not on thier native soil?"

"They tend to fort up pretty good" She admits "But is there magic involved in their soil for them? I don't know"

"Damn and Blast."

"We'll work on it. More details on the security there is forth ccoming"

He takes the glass, and a drink. "What do you think of inviting him to the Club?"

"That's.. a gamble, but we would be on OUR Terf"

"It's not like we can gain an advantage by keeping the place a secret; as you said, he's been here himself. He would, no doubt, be suspicious and take precautions...."

"What if we turned to him for help? Told him soemone was after me? Make it seem like we don't know?"

An eyebrow. "Why him, though?"

"I'm working on it" SHe ponders

"Did you have any direct interaction with him while he was here?"

"A brief talk, not very long at all" She admits

"AH." he drinks "Tell me every detail. Recall everything."

She speaks of his flaittery, of how he invited her to his house in Europe

"Mmm... you.... have considered his offer... and would like to discuss it further? In person?"

"Mmm I suppose it would make sense to open my avenues to Europe"

"You are... considering... planning a world tour?" he tests.

"Jazz is big in Europe"

"Indeed." he ponders, scowling "I don't know...."

"It's a possilbity, darling. An angle"

"Hmmph."

He offers her the last of the drink, if she cares for it.

She takes it and savors "I am sorry. I know this drives you nuts"

"Bah. It is at least as agrivaiting for you if not moreso." he admits "I know it chafes."

"I find myself wanting some extra sharp wooden stakes, yes"

He snorts "That is easily enough done but the creature must be within reach to use them."

"Too true." She nods "Maybe something a nocker can work on.."

"Some kind of crossbow stake-firing device." he suggests.

"Pocket Flame thrower?"

"Such a sweet pet name for me." he smirks.

"HA" That gets him fondled "You do run hot and furious"

He chuckles. "There was a time it was said I had ice water in my veins. See what you have brought me to." but he doesn't sound upset.

"Well, you're versatile" She snuggles "Hot when I like it?"

He shifts to accomadate her snuggle. "Happily." he sighs "We'll get through this, Dearest. It is frustrating, maddening, but we can get through it."

"You're right. We work together we can handle anything" She believes it

"So we'll wait, albeit with thin patence, for more information." a sigh.

"Well, you were right security is useful. "

An eyebrow.

"I mean I iddn't want the new staff but ...they've been damn good selections"

"I'm glad you do not find them unpleasant. For my part, as long as they do thier job......"

"Come on, let's go cook together... a bit of normal in the frustration mmm?"

And CC lures him away to the kitchen
