He hunches his shoulders a moment as he drives, but says simply "Rest, Dearest. I'll get us home."

"I'm fine, dear.. until the doctor says otherwise, I'm fine" She assures but sounds tired

"Mm." he drives them home, and does the usual of getting her door, and walking in with her.

She doesn't protest but says "the Doctor told me it could just be a fatty corposule or somethig?"

"Mm. Yes. Could be. Likely is." he responds, taking her coat "Not my area of expertise, of course, but ... limpoma are far more common than... they are very common."

"Just so, and I'll get to keep her" A blush "Call me vain, but I've worked hard to keep them looking this nice over the years, not that time always cares, be nice to keep the set intact"

He takes her in his arms. "I will love you regardless, all of you, glorious you. I love your vanity, your hard work, your luscious curves, and I will love you still no matter the fate of any of those."

"I know" She nods but her eyes grow dangerously moist, "But I've seen the way you look at them, enjoyed how I could lure you, distract you with them. I.. know they please you and that pleases me."

"Shhhh....." he soothes and gentles her, both of them, or tries "Yes, but there are so many delightful parts of you that I enjoy and am distracted by. Not all of them parts of your body, may I add. You enchant me in ways no other woman ever has, Callidora. You will never lose me, or my delight in -all- of you."

A pleased rally of a smile, her eyes don't cry, not yet, "You do like my voice yes, and laugh at leastt a third of my jokes." A concession, "And who makes a Greek Omelet better than me?"

"Not even the Gods themselves." he assures her.

He kisses her gently.

"What can I do for you right now, D... Callidora?"

"Well, I .." sheepish "I haven't eaten all night because I didn't take many breaks until you tricked me"

He does the math, she hasn't eatenn till NOON? Annd it's nearly 11 PM

He steams quietly but just nods and says calmly "Alright then.... why don't you go get undressed? I'll get you something to eat, and then draw you a bath."

"But you aren't an artist" she jokes weakly, "Thanks for not being upset about the food"

And she goes to get undessed

He puts together a quick tray and might mutter under his breath as he does it. Her favorites, an indulgence. Then he's up the stairs to her.

He brings her the tray and insist she sits to eat while he gets her bath ready.

"Oh my, my favorites," She says "You shouldn't have"

She sits as directed "You'e not going to treat me like I'm fragile now are you?"

"I might give in to my urge to pamper you." he admits freely with a slight echo from the bathroom.

"You do realize It doesn't currenntly hurt or anything? "

"oh fine, pamper"

He comes out of the steamy bathroom to the bedroom "It may not hurt, Callidora, but you... are troubled. " he hedges "And that means I am as well."

"I, suppose you'e rightt" She has eaten ravanously

"But!" He shakes it off "You are eating! Excellent. Enough for now or more?"

"Enough for now, but I'll have breakfast. I promise. Care to join me?" She pats the bed

"Breakfast in the morning I mean"

"Of course. Did you want that bath, or just sleep?" he sits next to her.

"the bath will be nice, but I want you to know, I love you"

He regards her tenderly for a moment. "I love you, Callidora. No matter what."

She strokes his face, "I know. I am a very lucky woman."

A chuff "There are those that would disagree."

"I, however, am grateful."

"They're idiots" She scoffs, "I have a man who loves me. I have sung for crowds that worshiped music witth me as high priestess. I have grand children, SO many, and a son who is a good man and will be a fine father. I'm vey lucky"

"When you put it that way, you are, of course, correct." a kiss.

A kiss back "Now I'm going to take that bath. then dry off, and rreturn to bed. Do.. you mind spooning tonight with me?"

"It would be a delight and an honor." he whispers "Would you like to be alone in your bath?"

"You're welcome to joinn me if you want" She rises

"I'll sit with you and scrub your back." he offers "And we'll spoon to sleep."

"Delightful"

"Mm." he follows her to the bath and tends her there. The water is delightfully warm, there are salts and oils and bubbles if she wishes, he's lit candles, and a basket of warm ham biscuits he must have snuck in, along with cool cider if she likes.

She nibbles, and drrinks, ad it's a good thing he's there as she might start to nod off

When he notices (which is promptly) he moves a few things to make it easier, and urges her up and into the towel in his arms. He'll usher her out and dry her off and tuck her in with a kiss and a whispered promise to return shortly.

He cleans the bathroom up quite quickly and is back to slip into bed with her.

She stays awake JUST long enough for them to spoon, then drifts to sleep

He rests with her until he knows she is well away, and then carefully slides out and ghosts downstairs.

He has a few books there, and a kitchen table, and a coffee pot, and pen and paper.
