CC goes into a food coma

Willam tucks her in, sets a fresh glass of filtered water at her bedside, and goes back to his notes and his planning and preparations.

Cleaning products get earmarked for replacement. He changes HVAC and water filters. The pantry, lader, and fridge get inventoried and a new shopping list is made ready.

Some 'dubious' items are easily donated, either to his employees as freebies or to local charities if he wants.

He has a couple boxes ready for such items, and will give them away.

Boggan metabolism is amazing, they seem to recharge by doing good work, so while he has the urge to enjoy his own food coma, he can resist far more easily than his satyr love. Fortunately, CC doesn't smoke, but now and then some yahoo in the club considers trying. Might need to crack down on that.

He makes that note. And another about the alcohol; red wine, fine, but.... he vents a grim sigh. That'll be a thing, won't it.

Supplements..... he looks over his notes. He has access and options others, mortal doctors, don't.

Indeed. But who to trust with questions about Breast Cancer? Clem is said to be an excellent healer... but the Chieftain has her limits, surely. And is quite friendly with Rivervale

The library at opening, then, to learn what he can from that material and access university and medical databases. It's been many years since he had to use those skills but they are not entirely forgotten.

Why the library is open.. online. At least some of their resources are for those iwth library cards

But he'll want to check things discretely so perhaps a personal touch is still best.

He's old enough to want to put his hands on the card catalog so yes.... in the morning. For now, he has his own rather esoteric records and notes. So he'll go over them, again. Looking for something, anything, that will help if... if it is the worst answer.

That plan made, his mind can move to other things. His advice to Caesar. Clem's one way relationship with Buck the Centaur (odd that) and how it might work to coax her to help healing if need be. And His hopes for Agnes

He makes an list of those with healing powers.... as CC said, to heal wounds and recover, yes. To cure disease? Much different, more difficult, rarer.

This spring art might be the trick. CLem has that. Others might too

Damn. His notes are too old, before the most recent devil-damned Resurgence or whatever they're calling it, to contain anything about these new fangled Arts.

And there he finds himself blinded! Winter, Spring, Autumn, and Summer? What does that even mean beyond the seasons? Sure they are arts but how can he use it to help CC?

He has names, ways of referring to these new powers, vague hints at possibility for use... but nothing useful to him right now. He makes a note; he must learn more.

Of course.... he rises and pours another cup of coffee. New Arts are well and good, may have a place, but there are things that haven't changed. The power of an Oathed Quest, for example...

And he can get in touch with young folks. Why Kitten seems to be a rising power. She might know of these arts even if she doesn't practice them. And that young Wayburton, what is his name? Zane. He claims to be a wizard. Mmm

The Wayburtons would almost certainly do what they could to help Callidora. If she wanted them to know.

Indeed. Of course they live in RIvervale.. at least most of them.

He frowns. And a note on his to-do list: Call Kitten on the way to the library.

He has been so happy, so content. He wonders if he's lost his sense of the now in the more shady works? No, not entirely. The recent work with Brenda and the influence on Kyle has him guiding both and that involved coaxing.

And that coaxing meant he kept in touch where to direct them to, if he swayed them entirely

Could the Thomases have something useful in this regard?

Knowledge. They know the powers of many in not one but two holds, current statuses in both as well

Yes. Heaven help anyone who keeps him from getting his CC whatever she needs.

A voice from the bedroom "baby? Are you plotting out there?"

"What? No, no... just coming."

He collects up all his notes and packs them away, dumps and turns off the coffee pot and rinses his mug, then heads back to Callidora.

"I thought you'd be passed out like me.. I ate too much" She admits sleepy still

He chuckles and slides his robe off before sliding into bed with her. "You'll start a diet tomorrow." he says with amazing foresight.
