"Mmm" She grunts and nods then hands him a tray "Table 7, if you have the time."

"Of course." he's cleaned up the station he used, and takes the tray out to table 7.

He fixes a jolly smile on and drops the elf a wink. "Good evening, sir, I hope I find you well?" as he serves the table.

He's with an enchanted Kinain, a pretty woman of mixed fae blood. touch of sidhe, touch of boggan. The other couple arre both mortals, unenchanted

"All is well, sir? Is there anything we can bring you?"

"All is well," the sidhe nods "You can't do anything about crowds besides try to please them all, and you seem to be doing a ood job of that. What wine would you suggest sir?" He seems a wilder but close to grump hood

He looks to see what they have ordered to eat, so he can pair it.

Looks like they've ordered Seared Scallops and baby spinach with a pomegranate glazee for one dish

Short Ribswith black Barley annd Mushooms for another plate. Bit of a clash

He taps a forefinger against his lips, then says "As you know, sir, conventional service says white for seafood, red for beef. I have every respect for conventional tastes and options but I have come to believe that there is room to satisfy an individual taste. A wine that would stand up to the ribs would over power the scallops, and vice versa. I could suggest a mild rose or white merlot but it would meet the needs of neither dish."

"Oh?" Intrigued

"I would suggest a glass of pinot grigio for the scallops, a glass of merlot for the ribs, and a bottle of nice Champagne for the table, since that is always good for a celebration and friends, no matter the dishes."

the sidhe looks to the others "I suggest we take the good fellow's advice"

"Fine by me" his lady smile

If all approve (and they will with the Sidhe leading them) Emerson offers a bow and goes to get the drinks; the GOOD stuff. He glances at the fish soup table as he does.

They do!

And table 3 seems to enjoy the MODERN stuff

A smirk as he personally pulls the wine and champagne, getting the bucket and stand, glasses... and carefully balancing the lot in, off, and under his arms, he heads back.

And the sidhe is joking with his friends, "And he stepped on the ball"

Emerson efficiently sets up the champagne and drinks, serving the table after the elf sniffs and tastes to his satisfaction.

he does ,and says "excellent. Thank you. This place is all I heard it would be"

"So glad to hear that, sir. Do let me know if there's anything else you desire." he bows smoothly and withdraws when dismissed.

"Oh we'e quite ggood thank you"

The hustle and bustle continue, but mos are loving this. Finally the crush eases

Emerson has the bar serve him a wee whiskey as he takes a break on a bar stool; no, you don't want to see the staff on break but hell... he's the maitre de.....

The bartennder does, and frows "Miss CC hasn

t had a break in 3 hours"

"Oh for heaven's sake!" he fusses, sliding off his stool and seeking her out.

She's on anotherr songg

He bustles around backstage, to wait for her to come off stage.

Huffing. He's brought his drink with him.

And CC sees him justt as she's about to voice anohter song

An eyebrow from the backstage shadows.

She makes a shooo shoo motion, but she also looks tired

He returns her motion with a beckoning motion of his own.

She makes a face, then gestures to the band which hits a purely instrumental number and she moves out of the auddiance view to join Emerson "Before you start, I know. I know, but my substiute called in sick"

He offers her the drink. "How long have you been on?"

"Oh.. jus a few.." She blinks "Hours. But look at that crowd? How can I leave my public?" Oh dear. She's going to need to be reigned in

"Mmm...." he lifts her glass again "Dearest, your public adores you, as do I. Leave -them- wanting you.... and come satisfy me?" he suggests with a sly smile.

"NOW?" A blink, and she looks tempted, "Well I..." She looks to the band and flashes sign for 15 minuttes, then goes with him

Where he can.. ttry to convince her to make that 'break' last longer
