"Good" A smile that grows as he takes her hand "mmm you want me to take over for a bit?"

He chews thoughtfully. "In the past, I would have an agent contact Brenda and work with her, training, to ensure she was ready at whatever level we estimated would be needed. That, of course, depends on the end goal. In that past time, the goal would have been the destruction of the Duchy; the nobles made unfit and unable to exercise their existing power, cut off from supplies and resources, shunned by their own kind. The balance of power tipped to those commoners we felt most likely to succeed. Succeed as we define it, of course."

"What -is- our goal here? Brenda, obviously, wishes to destroy Jeomry; but destroy him in what way? Do you have an insight to her thinking?"

"I think she'd settle for him disgraced probably wants him dead..." She steals a bite of his steak. It tastes better off his plate

"By setting him up as a Judas to his master and by extension the Duke and Duchess." he muses thoughtfully "A discovery they make -after- Jeomry is dead."

"And the ladies? Do they suffer a similar fate? Gilly, and the Leanhuan."

A frown "the Leanhaun I could leave to you, I've worked with them befoe but you need not guess HARD to figgure outt how I feel about burning out musicians." She hmm "As for Gilly. She'll need allies to get her safely to a new life?"

"Is she going on to a new life?" eyebrow.

"Point being, if Brenda-as-Gilly does the poisoning, it's helpful to have an actual-Gilly to take the fall?"

Referring to Gilly.

"Mm one might say she was victimized by him dear," She considers "Or a leas manipulated. "

"Well, your call. I just point out that if sleeping with a sidhe is a crime, quite a few common womenn have"

"She -thinks- she loves him." he points out.

"True. You could instead show her she doesn't"

"Oh, I think she'll come to that conclusion herself." dry.

"I wonder if she knows about the Leanhuan...."

"Well, Fiona, so she thinks. Probably does."

He regards Callidora. "You wish that Gilly escape her fate."

"I don't know her," She admits "Kith bias maybe in play"

A sigh. "If she can be easily removed. I don't want to risk the mission just to save her but if it can be done........."

"And assuming Brenda wishes it."
