Safely returned to the Emberclub, CC says "Well, that was interesting"

"Mmm." agreeing "Productive, I'd say."

"Lotus land is still going to need some help"

"Do you think so?"

"Well, hopefully you'll drop that clue like you said."

"Yes, I'll have to make an immediate start on that. After I inspect the club."

"Yes, indeed"

She kisses him "Good to be home"

"Mmmm...." he enjoys that kiss "It is."

They look about, the club seems in good shape, not open today, not yet anyway, but the staff has made it spic and span

William finds a few things to frown over, but nothing -too- bad.

Mm someone needs to take a bit more care with the corners of the windows!

He tuts over that. "Oh, this is....."

CC looks at it, "OH it's just a little thing honey"

"It's unacceptable. I'll have words."

"oh my, am I going to have to play good cop?"

"If you want to break out the handcuffs, should we not get back to the house first?" with a smirk.

"Ha. Not good cop with YOU. " A smirk "I'm always bad cop with you.. I meant to protect which ever employee you plan to feed to the alligators"

"Alligators? Nonsense, Dearest. We'll just have.... a little chat."

"the alligators might be nicer" She says

Another smirk.

"It can wait, I suppose, for the moment. No need to call anyone in off-the-clock."

A sigh. "I must be getting soft in my old age."

"Still hard where I need you to be " Wryly

"With sufficient warning and enough vitamins." he agrees.

A throaty chuckle "So you're telling me to get you a glass of juice?"

He draws her closer. "Depends on what you have planned." a light kiss.

"Truthfully? A bit of clean up, and snuggling, and maybe sleep. I'm getting older too"

He chuckles. "Let's get to the house, then." He'll drive, and soon that's exactly where they are; home sweet home.

She snuggles against him as promised, but also tends to cleaning up the house.

Not that much is needed; a few things out of place courtesy of the cat and the dog, but otherwise.....

"Oh I could kiss April Maude, she's kept these beasts in line.. mostly"

The boggan's eyebrow rises as he considers the image CC just presented. "Hm."

She pokes him lightly

And he chuckles. "Not exactly Oedipal, but...."

"Half way there?" She taps the brow to his one blind eye

That surprises a bark of laughter from him.

She laughs softly "Sorry, I can't resist low hanging fruit"

"And my low hanging fruit are ever so grateful for that fact." with a leer.

"Are you hungry? I can put together a plate of something while you're in the shower...."

"Would you?" She says

"Of course!" as if surprised she would ask.

"You go freshen up. Use the tub if you prefer, I'll bring you something."

"Oh I'll shower, I want to be back soon"

"Take all the time you wish." he assures her, and bustles off to rustle up.

Shortly he is climbing up the stairs with a tray balanced carefully, a light repast.

He takes it to the bedroom first, setting it down before going to check on CC.

She is already out and in a towel

"Ah me...." he leans against the doorframe "Better than any glass of juice or brace of vitamins."

"Why how flatterinn are you?" She smiles
