"How was your time?" CC asks merrily from the kitchen

"Oh, moderately successful." he pokes his head into the kitchen; naked?

No!

She's wearing an apron

And some delicious pastries are now ready

He approaches and takes her in his arms.

And she melts into his grip "Want some custard?" A smile

He stretches up for a kiss. "I would. You sit, let me serve you, and I'll tell you about my moderate success."

She returns the kiss, and smiles almost demurely "I'd like that" And she takes a seat

And so he does, serving her some of those pastries, pouring a glass of a sweet dessert wine, and telling her about Firnost.

"mm Harry seems like our kind of people."

And he serves himself as well. "He does, although I will reserve a final judgement on that."

"True, wouldn't be the first two faced foe"

"I am rather an odd duck for my Kith. To meet another such, even superficially? I have lived this long by remaining skeptical."

"Whose to say he's like you at all? He mgiht turn green and pass out to hear your methods.. he just happens to think nobles aren't needed maybe? Or perhaps Petey IS he rebel and Harry's just a proud Uncle?'

"All possibilities, yes." he agrees.

"Emerson, however, isn't particularly anti-monarchist, not in public anyway, and largely keeps himself to himself and tends his business like a good little boggan." he smirks.

"Oh did you clutch your pearls at the notion?"

She looks amused by this

"Mmm.... not as well as Imight have, but I avoided saying anythng too incriminating."

"It's tempting, and it sounds lovely. "

"Mm." both a sound of agreement and enjoyment of the custard-filled pastry. Then he pauses. "Did.... are you suggesting something?"

"I'm saying if Lotusland has gone common held, and already been usurped, then there is no temptation in helping it out a bit , or at least looking it over."

"In person?"

"Yes" She says mulling it over "I think you might want to and I want you happy"

"Not too close to being an active operative again?" he teases.

"have your fun" She says "And yes I suppose that's part of it. Besides, what if they pulled it off? They'll need a bit of dross, or a good information flow to help them hold it"

"Which I might be able to assist with."he agrees. "I did point Harry in the direction of some gold." and he explains in more depth.

"Sounds like there might be TWO Commoner holds in play" She says musingg THAT over

"Perhaps not in play, but changing hands."

"Mmm" A nod "Okay. One at a ttime to visit if need be"

"Which would you prefer first?"

"Which one has your interest more?"

"The one in Pacifica."

"Sounds good" She says with a smile

"Not an emergency, I think, so.... leave in a few days? That will allow us to put the club to rights."

"Fantastic" She says

He picks up a pastry and offers her a bite.

She takes one and savorsher work

He watches with a glint in his eye; he loves seeing her indulge.

"mmm well, I'm biased, but I like my custard"

"I." he leans over and kisses her "Love. It."

She almost shines with pleasure at that "I'll be sure we're fully packed."

"And I will make sure you are." he whispers back.

Another kiss and pastries are shared
