"INCREDIBLY" CC says "I thought you two might need haven"

She does not appear to be entirely joking

"Now, Mr. Stodgepole, it is not like Fealty. I am not compelled to obey..."

"I would never abuse Zara's trust, Mister Stodgepole.Or she mine" Earl says

"Indeed, no." He cleans.

"In truth, we have been trying to avoid too much fuss."

Fuss and clean and fuss and ... well, fuss.

"We might need to concede to a dinner..."

"With everyone."

"I'm sure we wish you both the best."

And he brings forward a custard-and-cake dessert.

"You always have a place to hide at the club" CC offers

"Appreciated."

"Oh, of course! If you seek shelter, we are here for you."

Earl finsihes the meal entirely and says "Ah, uh that was delcious thank you both very much. Maybe Zara and I can have you two over sometime? Or take you out?"

"Mmm. We're having some workmen in but...."

"We would not wish any pressure."

"Nor would we assume any." The boggan dries his hands as he finishes. Fussing.

Earl rises to shake hands with Emerson "Thanks again, sir. " And a nod to CC "Miss CC"

"Of course, Sir." He shakes hands with Earl.

And Earl tthen takes Zara's hand after she has said her own farewells, and escorts her out

Zara will take other dodgy leftovers, if they wish!

Oh, they can take ALL the leftovers....

Annd.. they slip out

CC says "Baby, are you okay?"

He hands them off their coats and things.

"I will make the necessary appointments."

"Thanks honey, but its less fun to win like this"

"Fft. It is nothing, Dearest." He turns and gives her a smile. "Nothing."

She reads his expression

Smooth.

Silky, sily smooth.

"You know something, either you mean that, or you are putting a fantastic performance which I cannot read and I'm no slouch" A kiss on his cheek "You really ARE the best you know? Smooth as silk, slipperier than Eel, and... god I do love you for it"

A sigh.

A hug around him

"It's not really so bad letting someone else handle the sink is it?"

"Toilet. And bidet. And if you wish, I will do a wait shift." He agrees.

"And no, it is not."

"We that hurting for waiters or are we just needing to double up for COVID reasons?"

He smirks. "I just wanted to see how much you might make in tips."

A brow "Mmm" She says "What if.. I wore a different form? "

"Not really the point." he pours them both a drink.

"Oh? You want the star of the show doing it eh?"

A long pause. "Perhaps I could have found another bargain."

"You're outrageous" She kisses him then takes a sip of the drink "Sadly, I get weak at the knees for outrageous"

"Another bargain. I just have to wonder how many angles that mind is used to working" Fondly
