and now looks sheepish

CC strikes a pose as the song ends and folks cheer and whistle. She loves this. Even behind the glass she can pick up some of their desire radiant

Emerson slips into the kitchen, grabs a bus tray, and lets the server know that when she brings the check he will bus the table. She can keep the tips and he'll settle with the usual busser.

And as he comes up, she whammies him too while he was approaching the table..."Got the lips

He shoots her a look only she can read the depth of; dark, delicious depths.

She strides back and forth on the stage, not like a caged animal, but like a panther picking which creature in the grass she wants to take down...

He has to wait to bus, as the table is still occupied. So he watches instead.

And she kisses the glass, leaving a lipstick stain and strides off

I think I have a new favorite in her repertoire.... He thinks longingly.

"I need to find some roses" the Eshu says "No, a single rose. More class"

"I need 15 minutes along in my bedroom" One redcap says

"Fifteen? You'd make a gwydion's head explode" Smirks the other

Emerson is close enough to listen, and stores each lascivious compliment away to repeat later.

"You two" the Eshu says "This is why neither of you gets to be my wingman. Someone find out where they sell roses."

The nocker holds out a phone "it's called Google. Latest thing from the West Coast."

"My word she was amazing" the troll sighs "Wish I moved like that"

Oh, but there are roses around here regularly. The unremarkable boggan slips off, a few are gathered (5) and their server is instructed to drop them off; no word or idea of who is responsible.

And so roses are provided. The Eshu pays for them, or tries to.. but no one he can find out who was the source. Instead he leaves a tip to the server and soon heads off to try to catch CC alone with the roses

"Oh dear. I think he's gone for the night" The trolless chuckles

EBG watches, enjoying.

The nocker says "We're heading back to our hotel room, you two" THe nocker tells the redcap, then puts a hand against his wife's small of the back (Which is not that small on a troll). She looks down at him, and looks pleased

"Yes, yes we are"

And those two depart.

EBG slips away and sends a kitchen gopher to trail the couple if he can. Avoid capture if he can't. Slips the kid $50 with the promise of another if he is successful.

Oh he's on it

The Redcaps go back to arguing... but look about ready to leave as well.

Emerson goes back to wait at the bus station for the table to clear.

And clear it does

When the 'caps are gone, the boggan comes out and buses, as boggans do.

And yes, a few bits and pieces make it to his apron pocket instead of the bus tray, and perhaps the dregs of a glass go into a baggie or vial, but nothing much is made of it in the sparsely populated dining room. And then the table is cleared and sanitized, as are the chairs and banquet, and ready for the next seating.

The Eshu comes out 20 minutes later, looking besmitten, just a touch frustrated.

And Emmerson? he's got all he needed

EBG, changed from his buser apron and shirt into his matre-de waistcoat and jacket, observes this blandly.

The eshu is generous, a bit more money for the buser... and he heads out. reaching for his phone to contact his motely

The Boss nods to the regular busser to pick up the tip; it's for him.

And he does with thanks

Nothing too showy, ones hopes. After a moment or two, he goes backstage to Callidora's dressing room.

He taps.

"Oh it must be my extremely jealous troll lover who does mixed martial arts as a hobby" a grin "Come in"

He enters. "I hope you are not disappointed?"

"Much?"

"By you? Never" She pulls him to her

A deep and engaging kiss follows.
