The waitress asks "Anything wrong with these folks, boss?"

"No, but you know how it is..... I think I might have gone to college with one of them, or perhaps it was a job, but I can't remember exactly....."

"Oh. I'll keep an ear out " She says then smiles "Oh, Mister Medly there seems to be caught up in CC's act. But who isn't?"

Emerson looks.

Indeed, the Eshu admires her as she saunters. Tipping his hat

A puff of amusement.

"I'll help you take the dishes out when they're ready." he tells the server.

"Yes sir." And out they go

He can easily manages a double-arm load.

"Mmm that one's mine" A redcap points to the rare "Burn chunk is his"

"Screw you. If I want somethinat bleeding I can arrange ito n my own without going out" Says the other

The unremarkable (if one-eyed) boggan serves efficiently.

"Smells good" the troll says

Quite a mound of fish there!

"Oh my. i didn't think I ordered this much" She looks ready to protest

the nocker says "It's fine. Smells good. Enjoy it"

He sets down the tartar sauce, dish of lemon slices, and bottle of malt vinegar.

"Oh my.. did you arrange this?" she looks at the nocker

Then steps back to let the server check that they have everything they need.

The serve does

The nocker says "Depends. If it means I get some love and affection? I totally did. if she complains about the bill.. I'll blame someone else"

Emerson nods to the server and goes backstage to wait for CC.

CC joins him "Hi. Everything okay with Table 3?"

"Mmm, you noticed."

"Mercenarie motley ? Yes. I noticed' Amused

He describes the conversation he heard.

"What do you think?"

"I think they're trying to milk the nobles, and I admit while i'm not crazy about working FOR Nobles.. I hope they charge them high" A frown "Wonder if there's a way to .. no..nevermind"

"Please don't tell me you were wondering if there was a way to join them?"

"Me? A merc? Darling. I've done work for hire, but it was the classy femme fatale stuff. Not the wearing fatigues and yelling semper fi or whatever"

"What were you wondering, then?"

"Change their directive.. have htem work more for the folks there not just the baroness"

"There are five of them; that's quite a few minds to change, and any one of them recalling the original plan could give the gambit away."

"I meant with charm.." A frown "But yes"

"That's quite a bit of charm, as well. Individually, perhaps, but if these five have worked together before they may have formed a battle-bond that could be difficult to insert oneself into." he points out.

"That tight eh?" She does not have that boggan knack "Fair. What do you think we should do? If anything?"
