It is with immense satisfaction that Emerson looks at the club "Closed for private performance" sign. If Mohemmed was reluctant to go to the Mountain, then vice versa. The traggo, at his invite, descended on the club (Closed to mortals) like a goat legged pack of wolves on a lamb. CC was surprised to learn just WHO it was for, but before then she had agreed to whoever if he thought it was a good idea.

Silly woman to trust him.

No doubt within that club right now, a wild raucous time better fitting a bachanala is going on.

He smirks. She knew better.

"You're feeling JUST a bit smug right now, arent' you?" Caesar smiles. Outside of it with him.

William nods, offering to pour Caesar another from the scotch bottle on the coffee table in his mother's house. "A bit. A failing of my Kith, I'm sure."

"If it is one, it's certainly forgivable." He nods, "I wanted to thank you for it. And.. for the other thing."

"Which thing is that?"

"Oh, helping every mother involved. I mean, I sure wasn't getting anywhere with May Maude."

A small smile. "All your ladies are unique unto themselves." He agrees.

"Yeah, they are," He confesses, "April is ...well, feels wrong to pick favorites."

"Nonsense." William avers. "There are those that are, under usual circumstances, easier to be compatible with. And those, otherwise, who are... more of a challenge. Which can be attractive at the right times but.... more of a chore, elsewise."

"Probably why mom insists on giving you a hard time now and then. She doesn't want you bored with her," He drinks, "Okay. I admit it, April-Maude has been fantastic. I had to REMIND her I had a maid? And she's scary smart."

The boggan chuckles. "No doubt."

"I think she's trying to please me, or worse... she might be in love with me. " A sigh "But I'm a satyr, heartbreak is a risk"

"I would be very surprised indeed if she were not trying to please you, Caesar." Wry.

"As long as you make your....expectations known, and value hers... you've done what you can." He offers sympathetically.

"mostly I don't rub her face in it. You know? " The big satyr scratches his chin.

"Caesar. Talk to her." He encourages. "Let her know what you want... and what you don't. She's smart. She's capable."

"I'm still figuring out some of what I want, my friend but thanks. Kids? Yeah. I do want kids. I love kids. Wondered what it would be like to ... you know? Have some , get to watch them grow. So many of my little caesarinos are growing up. I like to think I've been a good role model. HOpe I'll be a good dad."

"This is where you tell me I'm going to be a great dad" he says wryly

"Well you are!" Surprised. "Of course you are!"

He looks relieved, "Thanks. I know I fished for it with dynamite, but I Really needed to hear it"

A chuckle. "Caesar.... you are going to be a -wonderful- father."

A grin, "yeah. I can't wait to name... well... damn. I Hope it's not ALL DeBuke family names"

A small smile. "You have hopes to be including in the naming conventions, in some way?"

"Little bit" He says the nlowers his voice "Come on, you can't tell me Calli or Dora wouldn't sound great as a nickname for a little girl?"

Willam chuffs. "I do not disagree, myself, and I think -she- would preen while denying it. But Dora sounds bound for adventures.

"ha. Good point"

"And mom would SO preen and deny it." A pleased look

"And if there are boys?"

"Who knows? " An amused glimmer in his eyes. He's got something planned.

An powerful eyebrow.

"Fine ... the idea that 'Emmerson' might be a decent middle name and William is always a winner DID come to mind"

He clears his throat. "Not necessary, Caesar." Kindly.

"No promises for or against. I know you like it low key though"

"Indeed." A murmur.

"So BIG Letters on the Birth Certicate"

A -glare- from the boggan. "Perhaps not."

"Mom's right, you can be a buzzkill at times" Good natured though

"Yes, an utter Autumn."

a drink. "Okay. So.. how are things with you? You put so much in helping me and mom I Hope you're having some fun too?"

"Oh, yes, I pass the time." Mildly.

"Huh... come on, let me take you somewhere for some fun... mom would want me to pay it back to you"

A hearty laugh. "Oh dear... Caesar. Thank you. What do you have in mind?"

"Well, a lot depends on your hobbies... mom says you like cooking but I get the feeling you prefer that with her, right? So what's your fancy?"

A lingering, thoughtful pause. "Well. Yes, I enjoy cooking with Callidora. And being in her company in general. And of course, managing the Club." A sip. "You see, Caesar, I do not need constant ... stimulation. I'm a boggan, and an old one at that. Comforts are enough."

"Yeah? How would you feel then, about visiting a distellery? "

"Oh, well.... a -business- trip? Practically a duty."

"Come on, we'll take my car" He grins
