A kiss "Love the flowers, unusual color, where'd you get them?"

"A herpetarium."

she gives him a look, "Herpes..... no I would know about that... something reptiles?"

"Mmm." Smugly.

"Oh dear. Do I WANT to know?" She strokes his cheek

"No." He kisses her fingertips. "Just enjoy the moment."

He stretches, the sheet pooling around his waist.

"I will.." She eyes the sheet "That reminds me, Toga night is soon. "

"Mm?"

"Theme night at the club" she says "It was such a big hit last ides of march I thought I'd do a Toga night twice a year. The girls and I will be the 'muses' with a 'vase' back drop."

"Ah! Of course. I -did- enjoy last March."

"Seems to be hit with that fraternity I'm so fond of" A grin "Though we do have to direct their after party party elsewhere... still worth it. What with Rush week coming around again this seemed like a good time"

"You are a marvel." he gives her a gentle kiss. "Now. Tragos." A loving but firm taskmaster.

"Is it time again all ready?"

"Yes, Dearest." Wry. "You really -must- meet with these people...."

"Iv'e MET Them.. I've done more that meet them.." A cough "Why itwas just last week when ..." A pause "Two weeks ago.."

A month.. it's been a full month

He clears his throat and just gives her a -look-.

"Three ..." A pause "And some change?"

"Dearest......."

"Okay, a month. I've been busy!"

"I know.... I -know!-" Soothing. "You have been busy. Any moreso, and you'd be a boggan, which would be a tragic loss. But Dearest, please... Please?" Puppy eyes. "Let's make this meeting happen?"

"Oh you're making the face, tha'ts a cheat"

DEEP Puppy Eyes. "Please?"

She crumbles , "Fine.... I'll have the orgy and buffet"

A smile. "Thank you. Do you wish an escort?"

"No. I'll go. " A kiss. " I want you here in case Caesar or one of the mothers to be needs your help. Is that okay?"

A sigh. "Of course."

A deeper kiss, "You're the best . " She crosses her heart, "And I"m off. " And away she slips. SHe's an amazing liar when she needs to be, but he's 90.4% sure she means it

A wistful sigh, and he goes about his own business.

It is to his surprise that April knocks on his door.

He dresses, and answers. "Yeee..... Miss April?"

"I'm sorry to bother you..." She says "BUt.... Caesar's out of town and I didn't know who to turn to ... I think I'm being followed"

"What?" He pulls her inside and closes the door, moving her inside the room. "Down."

She goes just that lowering "Down? is it ..."

But she obeys

Emerson moves around the room, checking.

"Miss April....are you well?"

"Yeah, just spooked" She admits "I know it sounds crazy and paranoid... but I swear someone was following me. I couldn't make out who or what"

"No, dear, it is fine. Tell me of these that are following you. "

"I only saw shadows. Is that weird? I mean, not shadow chimera.. actual shadows without people to create them. They followed me down the street, matching my pace, one behind, the other parallel to me across the street ..when they could. Now I'm not the best hunter in the family, but does that not sound like trying to herd someone?"

An eyebrow.

"Ah." He looks to gage her for current enchantment.

She's low, very low but still enchanted

A soft sigh.

"Will you join me here, on the couch?" Having done a perimeter, he's ok with offering.

She sits down. "i'm NOT dreamstruck, Mr. Stodgepole."

He stops, looks. "What?"

"I said I'm not dreamstruck, sir. I'm not imagining this."
