She listens then says "So you don't know the local fae well?"

"Nope. " he admits

"Mmm " She ponders "That's not an area I knwo too well myself"

"Nor I." The boggan admits.

"N o prob. I'll chat folks up. Wrestling is big in Texas" He grins

William gives Callidora a measuring look.

CC says "I'm trying not to do that worrying mom thing"

"BUUT?" Caesar says with a put upon face.

"But I'm not sure it's so easy. You just said someone might have hexed an AREA and your'e going to flex them into friendship?"

CC raises a brow at him

Caesar groans "mom.. I have people skills too"

"He does." William admits.

"I know but you're... you think the best of people, Caesar" she smiles "I love that about you, but worries me."

"Mom, most people, given a chance, do the right thing" he says

At that, CC Looks over to Bill, "You see why I worry?"

"I do." Dryly.

"Cynics" He says

"Oh, I am, assuredly. Your mother, less so." A twinkle in his eye as he looks at the lady in question.

CC smiles "I prefer to think of myself as a genteel opportunist"

"Optimist." William offers.

"Then have confidence I'll be fine." Caesar says "IF I need your help, I will show up back again. "

"NOoooo" he says "Every young man wants his mother to cover for him. It's not emasculating at all" Caesar says

"Could be worse, Caesar. We could come to more of your matches." He points out, and sips his wine.

"Ah, so that proves it, I am NOT welcome in looking aftrer you" CC crosses her arms

"I.. " A hapless look on the big satyr's face then a glance to EBG "Help?"

An eyebrow. "Callidora, you -did- raise him to be independent and self-sufficient."

"There's no evidence that can be used against me in a court of law proving that..." CC says

"Mom" Caesar says

"The evidence sits before us, Dearest."

"mmmph fine, but goodness sake, Caesar. What's the point of experience if I can't use it to help my own son?" She says

"Fair point" he agrees, "Okay. I will keep you guys i nthe loop since I dragged you into it"

Molified "GOod. Now, yes get to know some of the locals.. and if you find a nice girl with a desire for children and wide hips.." She times taht just as Caesar is having a steak bite.

Caesar coughs and nearly chokes

William clears his throat.

"You have pets now, mom" Caesar says

"Ah-ah-ah, Caesar, -you- cannot use them."

"Et tu, Bill?" He blinks

THAT gets a boggan a kiss on the cheek from CC

"William, please." He correct smoothly "And yes, please remember they were -my- get-out-of-baby tokens."
