Caesar comes into the club.

He's dressed in a nice suit, custom made because of his big frame.

"Caesar! Hello! Good to see you." A hearty greeting, delighted.

"Hey, how goes it?" The troll sized satyr bends down to clap an arm about the shoulder of the shorter boggan, "You're just the man I was hoping to see. But if you're busy I can just have a meal and wait. You guys still have those little steak and rice combos?"

"We do, I'll put the order in and join you. Does Callidora know you are visiting?"

"Nope. "

"Do you want her to?" Wryly.

"Well, I came to see you and don't want to intrude on her performances," he admits

"Me? Well. Here, have a seat and I'll be right back." And he is as good as that, returning quickly with a couple of glasses of wine he knows Caesar drinks.

He slides into the booth with him. "Now. How can I be of assistance?"

"It's this real estate stuff, I'm actually getting pretty good at it mind you, but I have hit an interesting snag. Is talking shop okay? I feel bad for making you put on your corporate brain when you might want to focus on your own business?"

"Real Estate? I'm hardly the expert you are but please, go ahead."

"I tried my hand at buying some land in Texas, jokes aside, big boom state for population and investment. I figured some fae would get a kick out of it. So I start construction on this location after I get permits. Everything, and I mean everything is going wrong. Construction equipment breaking, workers getting summer flus... You know soothsay? Is it just me, or has someone managed to hex a project?"

"-Really-? Hmmph." He ponders this. "I do know the Art, yes, to a moderate degree. Someone could have hexed you, yes, but the more important question is -why-?"

"I'm not sure it's on me, that's the thing. I played a little black jack , good hands, lost about the usual amount. I tried to seduce twins. I did not get them both but I got one of them, and did not get slapped by the other. I still call that a win." He says "But the area itself? Nothing getting done - not right anyway"

"Hmm."

"It could be the project or even the land itself. Where in Texas?"

"Livingston. eastern half.. polk County"

A chuckle. "I am not as familiar with the mortal organization of the land as I am our own?" Hinting for a Fae reference for the area.

"Oh, Kingdom of the Burning Sun, ArchDuchy of the Lone Star..not sure of the County or barony name"

William scratches his chin; this week he seems to be growing a goatee in. "Hmm. Part of the problem could well be the King. Well, 'Chief' as he likes to call himself. Closed the borders years and years ago."

"It opened up when David returned...and to be honest? IT was kind of sieve like anyway"

A smirk. "Yes."

He coughs and removes the smirk. "That is, so I heard."

"Uh huh" A long look, "One day I'm going to try to get you drunk enough to get some really good stories out of you"

A chuckle.

"Point being, who knows what was done while the kingdom was 'dark' so to speak? Rulers have a connection to the land, sad to say."

"You have a point" HE ponders "You think I should look up the local nobles?"

"I do not." Emphatically.

"Mmm"

I take it you cannot really back out of the project now?"

"Not without biting a real loss" He frowns "And not just me. Some changelings are hoping for some of my special discounts "

"Ah." A bit sourly as the Need strikes. "Well, let's not disappoint them."

"Have you made your presense known amongst the Fae in the area? Made your manners?"

"Well, I didn't go looking for nobles, and when I was there I ..oh .. you think A motley might behind this? I didn't really make introductions."

He shakes his head. "I don't know, Caesar, Burning Sun is a large place. Too little information."

"Then I guess that's what I should do, talk to the locals" he nods

And enjoys his meal.

"Hmm." A frown. "You will step carefully?"

"Hey, don't I always? " Easy grin

"Remarkably so for such a large man, but.... Caesar, could we include Callidora in this conversation?"

She's currently singing, but should get a break soon. Caesar glances over "I guess? I don't want to worry her but if you think it's wise"

"I do." Firmly. A fond glance at the stage.

"She is invaluable." Quietly.

"Well then I'll slow down this meal" He says and does

CC is always happy to see her son, "Hey you... " And she smiles as 'Emerson' has taken the liberty of ordering just what she likes.

He rises, of course, and kisses her cheek before seating her between them.

"And hello you too," CC kisses the boggan on his cheek in return, "My two favorite fellows. " Truly happy.

"You're great as always, mom" Caesar says. "I was just pestering this fine gent with ah.. real estate troubles."
