The door shuts very quietly behind him. Inside, William steams for the office; his face is an unhealthy color.

"Baby?" CC looks concerned, worried and any thought of the money is gone. As she follows

He is quietly packing, his face set in anger.

Now CC looks worried, "William, please. Talk to me."

"Yes, Dearest?" Despite his expression and actions, his voice is mild enough.

"What are you feeling? whate you planning on doing? And..did I hurt you somehow by talking to him?"

"You did not hurt me, no, not at all." He spares a look up, eyes blazing, then back to ... oh, it's all his 'toys'..... "I'm enraged, and I'm going to kill him."

"For what?" startled though she starts to suspect

"Insulting you. We don't need his money that badly."

"Then we won't sell him the cursed gem"

"No, because he'll be dead."

"William, despite the fact taht a part of me actually finds this a bit of a turn on that you would kill for my honor... I think maybe this is the time to consider the UNseelie side... Okay? I was the one who told him Miss Trollop. It was a troll pun and I regret it now."

"I will be miserable, because one pooka who can't stop lying his way is enough to pull you away from me. " She says "I will be miserable, because you won't be killing to liberate people, but because I agreed to talk to him knowing he would be insulting. WHy do you think I slapped him? "Did you hear how he referred to you?" A low, rough growl.

"Look, the curse on the gem I was going to sell him would have messed with him and got me paid- but flat out killing him because he has an unpleasant demand from the dreaming? "

There is a long pause. He still smolders, and will not look at her. Then he clears his throat. "I will be away this evening. The staff have things in Hand. I will see you tomorrow."
