The boggan rubs his chin. "Hm."

"I know she has talked to nobles, even perhaps made acquaintance ships, but she doesn't trust them" he says "Can't say I blame her, though I do think of at least one as a friend...or at least a guy Iadmire."

"Hmph." Less speculative, more disgruntled.

"Ignorance is said to be bliss, Caesar."

"I know she knows magics that are...a lot more advanced than she lets on. " He adds

Stodgepole clears his throat.

"Please, she gave Tantulus 'tips' in chicanery once, and he became a master... now the psycho asshole was all his own."

"Fair point." Muttered.

A deep breath. "Well."

"Look, I have theories ..more speculations, but you know more than I do I suspect. And I don't mind. She wants to protect me even now. " A shrug "But I'm good."

Another deep breath. "Caesar. I'm not speaking out of school when I say ... you are the reason for her life."

A guilty look "yeah. I owe her everything. It's kind of intimidating really"

A boggan tsk. "I'm told that everything is excused for Love. She loves you. There should be no 'debt.'"

"Well, repay all debts is part of it too.. so .." He points out

"If you insist." A sip of stout.

"I know I know" He says "See, now you've got me maudlin. Still, a deal is a deal."

He offers his hand with another grin.

" oh. Yes." Depreciating ly, as if it weren't important

"Not as much, for my sake. But yes. I am content. Even happy. "

"Good," he says "now, where are you going to whip up a trago from the ether?" Amused thought

"Oh, I'll have to think about that." Mildly, sipping his stout.

"This could be interesting, win or lose" He smiles "Anyway, the troll ladies were... very interesting. Maybe I should visit other troll lodges. Women in my size are rare"

He clears his throat. "One wonders you have not thought of trolls before?"

"I've considered, but they're often so stoic, you know? And I don't push myself on women, it's one thing to walk up with confidence, it's another to approach an open do not enter sign, and a lot of troll women have 'Trespassers will be shot' on their forehead"

"None of them stand out ... I mean, that sounds mean, but I'm not sure I could name three"

"Maybe mom and I are too picky"

A chuckle. "I do not think so. My understanding and experience is that it is an intimate relationship. It requires and deserves care."

"A lot of them are open to guests, newcomers... but then real membership ..yeah, the true circle of it? That's tight"

"St. Louis seemed welcoming."

"Well, then maybe they're the ones" A nod

"As a start. The right fit is paramount." Sip.

"You're not worried about being left out? hard for non satyrs to get close to tragos at times"

A small smile. "No. I'm familiar, at least with that group, and if another is the right fit to suit Callidora's needs... I will be pleased she has found one."
