"Vassar, hmmm..... I'll look into it." He kisses her back. "That part of Apples is rather thickly overgrown with Sidhe, though."

"Oh dear, maybe I should look into it. After the Valers came by it's almost cruel to dangle more treats at you again"

"No, now, it's my pleasure to do it. I think I can control myself."

"And, if the Baroness wishes the contact I can give, so be it. ALthough I'd -love- to watch the meeting."

"Yes, about Brekke and Frank's problem. How are you going to help with that if any?"

A small shrug. "She didn't confide many details, you understand. It must be a significant issue for her to come to me, though. She's asked my help in moving members of the mortal caravan in Feathered Serpent north, safely. I told her I was retired, but I have a phone number for someone who might be able to help. I can only assume it has something to do with King's daughter, who is based down there now."

"Yes, that would make sense. Tricky work, and a risk to the Escheat if not handled right. Quite the challenge really. As Sir Frank IS a Liam I trust they don't want them utilized in some near indentured servitude? Liam always up the dificulty level" She MIGHT be joking, for she has a higher opinion of Liam than some houses but does not make an issue of it

William laughs delightedly. "I made very close to exactly that point. There might need to be quid pro quo to get the job done and no, oh no, the Baroness did not like that at all." He smirks. "I might have jabbed at her just slightly."

"Oh poor dear. " CC tuts. "Getting them across isn't so hard. Setting up new lives? trickier..."

"By far." He agrees. "Logistically.... " He shakes a head. "And there's a political matter, within our society. Perhaps dozens of Kith, Kin, Dreamers dropped into various domains and freeholds... that's a steep, sharp rise in populations. Notice will be taken."

"Oh yes. They can't expect the WHOLE Caravan? " she says surprised

"Oh, I think King would try it, if he could."

"But specifically we talked about saving kith, kin, and dreamers. In that order."

"mmm now that's not without merit, the kithain and kin and Dreamers. " She agrees, "And probably less than 10 percent, more is the pity"

"I wonder if Fenton is still in business?" Thoughtful

"I shiver with delight when I recall it, Dearest." He assures her. "Fenton is a contact, then?"

"Yes or was," She says "Fenton could get you papers that made you seem like European royalty. He was a forger, an infiltrator , a bureaucrat."

"He sounds delightful.

"Mortal or Fae?"

"You would like him, he had just enough ego to gloat but not so much as to sabotage himself" A smile "Fae, guess what kith?"

"Boggan" A smile, "Though he said his mother was a Piskie."

"That must have led to some adventures...."

William chuckles. "He sounds like a brother from another mother to me. I'm afraid I do enjoy playing with names, but I would have trouble seeing you as a Bertha."

"Oh I think he was testing what I'd put up with... touch of mischief to him too though you wear it better" A smile "I told him if it was a choice between living with that name or on the run, I'd take my chances. He moved onto Mona Lovesite, I asked him for something that didn' sound like a Porn handle. Finally he gave me Rose O' Dare. I liked that one. "

His lips curl. "Oh yes. Yes, I like that. Rose O'Dare. I'll have to remember it."

"Well, it might be early to approach him, but there's no harm in seeing if he's still approach-ABLE." Her lover stresses. "I would hate to keep the Baroness waiting. Assuming she comes back with a request, which she might well not."

"I'll see if he's still around then" She says "You want to meet him if he's still in the market? I know how you prefer to access talent for yourself"

"Well, I don't see how I could not! First, he might have some good stories about you." A smirk "Second, if I'm going to recommend him for inclusion to the Baroness, I should meet the man. And possibly warn him."

"mm good point. He might not like the idea of working with her. Still, point out those in need and it might help. You know how gushy boggans get" She fights a smile and flutters her lashes

"Hmmph." He hmmphs. "My own fault, for offering the favor in the first place."

"A bit" She says, then kisses him "But I love you for it. Besides, I think you'll feel better getting it off your shoulders...at least when Beltaine goes around. "

"If you allowed, I could -manufacture- a way to pay it back......" wheedling.

"Noooooo... you are not to create a crisis you provide the cure for. It's not that it's dishonorable, because who cares? But because it's tacky, baby. It's just ..tacky."

He pouts at her.

Another soft kiss then says "Tacky. Besides she's going to suspect anything going wrong you show up for being your doing anyway. I would, if I were she. Remember how they saw you behind every shadow for a bit even when you weren't?"

"Well yes, but prior to that I -was- behind a -few- shadows for a bit...."

"But, as you wish. I'll wait to see if they contact me."

"Let's see if we can help the caravan, find a trod, find Fenton etc. And here I worried you'd be bored" A wink "Also , who knows? If we find some kithin or kinian there, maybe some of them have musical or cooking talents? No shame in offering FAIR pay, and think on this- if we do that, the Baroness will assume you have an impressionable Kithain or Kinain in your clutches even if all you're really doing is getting a skilled cook for slow shifts"

He chuckles. "They saw our Enchanted girls. I thought King would swallow his tongue, and her Ladyship squinted so hard I thought she might go blind from the sight."

CC breaks out in a laugh

He grins at her laugh. "Neither of them addressed it directly but....."

"Oh my I feel bad, that's more Caesar and MY doing than yours. And you get the blame. " A nudge, "Did you have fun watching them simmer?"

"Most certainly. I let them think I was dragging mortal women in by the hair to Enchant and do mischief to, then abandon them."
