An open handed, spreading gesture. "I could get in dutch even for that, but I -do- want to help."

She leans back, arms folded. "If that is how it is managed...I would not consider the debt paid until the relocation is completed. I would need to see that the 'points of contact' prove reliable in practice."

"Are you planning to relocate -all- the migrants? That's... thousands of people."

"Over time, perhaps but.... in one go?"

"That would not be realistic...would it?"

An eyebrow. A...challenge?

"It would not be. An operation of that magnitude would require massive resources, and I would be willing to bet parts of it would fail. It is a threat to the Escheat."

A slow nod. "I tend to agree...though I am assured that there are both fae and Dreamers among them."

"I'm sure there are." Sip.

A sigh, and she leans forward again. "If it could be done, yes, I would want to see to the relocation of all. But...of us three, I am least experienced in such matters. Tell me...what is a reasonable scope, given available resources and possible contacts?" She's looking to both of them now.

Frank looks at the boggan, reluctantly. "Well. Although I struggle with it, the Escheat would have us Rescue Fae and Dreamers before all others."

Stodgepole nods. "The ground work is critical. Several thousand could translate to ... dozens, perhaps, in those two categories. Not enough to just pop them past the border. They'd need logistical support. A destination, papers, food, water, shelter, transportation. From what I've read, many speak a native language that is not Spanish, so language issues and interpreters....."

"It will be expensive in both Glamour and cash."

Frank nods. "There are Freeholds that could take the Fae. The Dreamers...." He thinks.

A thin smile from the boggan. "The Dreamers go with the Fae to pay their way?"

Brekke listens, nodding.

The troll scowls. "I hate the way that sounds."

Then a sigh. "And there is the enslavement I mentioned."

Stodgepole tsks. "Indentured servitude, perhaps."

"I do not see the difference."

A thin smile. "I know. You serve the Sidhe."

Frank rumbles dangerously.

Her eyes narrow, and her jaw tightens...but she does not speak.

The damn little pisspot looks smug.

"I...serve the Dreaming. I serve my Lodge and my balefire. And yes, I work within a system that allows the resources to sustain all of those. Perhaps...you have nothing meaningful to offer. Perhaps your debt to me still stands." Her tone is low.

He shrugs. "Well, it's stood this long." Sip.

"Yes...and I am endeavoring to call it in on a task that you say you actually wish to do. If it is not satisfied now, I may call it in on a different sort of matter in the future." Then with a sigh she untenses slightly and looks to Frank. "I also hate how it sounds...but it may be an option we need to consider."

Frank seethes quietly, but not to her. Not -quite- curtly.

The boggan shrugs again, and sip. "I've retired. What I actually wish to do is enjoy it. I'm happy to help, but my options are limited. I don't want to get in trouble."

A long measuring look from Brekke.

The boggan may note that she has not tasted her water.

He smiles.

"I can't afford to indulge here." Sotto voce "Public Health laws, you know."

"Besides..." sitting back "... the world would be so much less interesting without you in it."

That gets a frown. "I understand I offer you a certain entertainment value. That much has been made clear." She pushes back her chair and rises. "Find out what you can in terms of potential contacts. We may be in touch. This is not settled."

"I'd be happy to! Can I offer you something to eat, or pair of guest passes?" He stands as well, the effect being less impressive when he does it.

"No." A grim expression.

He chuckles.

Frank stands as well.

He glowers a bit.

"Well, let me show you out, then." Stodgepole offers.

"It is good to know where you work, though," she adds, and then follows him to the door.

He unlocks the front door for them. "Yes, the salt mines." Merrily.

Frank pauses at the door. "-Retired-?"

The boggan nods. "Really. I found something better." A smug smile again.

An eyebrow at that, and a glance to Frank.

Frank glowers. "What?"

Brekke is also interested in the answer to that.

Stodgepole smirks. "Multi-level marketing. That's how I got this place!"

A dubious look...and she shakes her head. "Let us return, Frank."
