CC returns, lookking like the cat who got the cream, and the cream got her back "I might have over done it in there"

The Boss escorts his Boss in. "Oh, I think it will be... an education. That's what they are there for."

"Well, I can't cut loose like that in the club too often... the cleaning bills would give you a fright" She gives him a kiss and whispers "For a man who is very cerebral you certainly bring the steam, my tea kettle"

"I"m a little steam kettle, short and stout....." He sings "Here is my handle, here is my spout........"

"It's a very nice spout," she assures, "Ok. While she was low in banality I bent her Da'an so she'would bothbe happier and out of our way... as for the students? They didn't do anything they weren't tempted to learn about... and I think overall, they'll treasure the moment. Heck, at least one of them, I might try to get working here. She didn't seem so bad and seemed reluctant about some of the methods her pofessor was using."

"I agree. She seemed to have potential." He seems ... well, blissed-out.

She motions to some of the employees as she moves him into a cushy big chair at the office, "You folks keep things going, I'm going to get my man into a cushy comfy chair and maybe give him a foot rub." Then to him, "Bourbon, dear?'

"Oh, that would be nice." He sits up to regard her. "You? A martini? Or....?"

"Martini would be lovely" A sigh "My temper eh? Thanks for guiding it"

He makes sure there is a martini on the way... A Miss CC Marinti.

Bourbon and Martini are by now a cornerstone of the bar

And yes, whether in the hold, the main part of the club, or in his office, he's getting a comfy chair, one big enough she can snuggle

"Oh, guide it?" He disregards that. "Your temper is a natural wonder, and should be worshiped."

He curls her close.

"mmm hmmm" she laughs and snuggles in his lap, taking a sip of her martini now that it's there, very happy "And you know, some of those lessons ARE important. Did you know that almost two years ago, a nocker girl was nearly undune by a jack ass seixst pig of a professor who tried to keep her from engineering because she was a woman? And there are REAL dangers to women in this city that... oh it just got me steamed that of all the true problems in the world, tht professor redirected all that youthful energy into attacking a song and my club . Such a waste."

"So true." He sips, cuddling her. "Shall we undertake a crusade? In the good sense."

"Ha. I think we should," She agrees, "Better world, better dreams, or so I hope. What do you suggest? "

"Start with your friend..... Sorry, Hodges' first name?"

"Professor, didn't you hear her?" She says "And I hope you're being sarcastic?"

He smirks. "We can find her name."

"It's Christina, dear. I saw it on a plaque. Why would I start with that wretched song censoring woman? "

"You might or might not." He kisses her neck.

"Is she nod the source? A .... project?"

"Well, if not for you perhaps for me."

"Ah..." Sheepish "Did you ...really want her? I might need to undo some fate bending, and that's.. not easy" CC looks chagriinned

"Did I want her? No!" he kisses her "No... I have no attachment."

"Well, you said a project for you, and I.. uhm.. not sure how that would work anymore but waht did you have in mind? I'm not jealous dear. I just worry I denied you a hobby" She assures "And if this is a call of the needy thing, you know I want to accommodate."

"Nonsense." Briskly. "If there are those you wish to continue a relation with ......"

'I wanted her out of my hair and to stop influening the young negatively so I ...uhm.. " Is she blushing "Changed her fate to help her find happiness"

He juggles her a bit. "How so?" Gently.

She mumbles something in his ear

Then blushes "I know, I know... I'm horrible, but she cheesed me off, but you felt sorry for her, so I thought hey, a lesson she could learn to trust men from and... in a way that makes me feel like 'so there' but she'd still be happy and...' ahem "Susan b Anthony would fuss at me wouldn't she?"

"He, whoever he is, will be a good guy, and certainly not abusive..." Yup, blushing.. how odd. THIS makes her blush "Oh for crying out loud, Bill,say something before I feel obliged to join the nearest women's march in some sort of weird penance"

He chuckles, then laughs. It's a jolly sound, in keeping with the holidays. "I think it's perfectly in character. Wonderful work, Dearest."

"Well, thank you," Mmmphs "For a moment you made it all weird"

He draws a fingertip along her jaw line, tracing. " now what, I wonder, made you blush, Dearest?"

"It's that I .well, not the nature of the lifestyle,..obviously, but because I was kind of petty about it. I wanted her out of my hair from now on...and, sometimes I have a temper"

He chuckles. "I delight in your pettiness and temper, I suppose -because- you struggle against it so. I, myself, was tempted to Mooch all the underwear in the room away, but I suppose it's just as well I didn't bother. I think that matter took care of itself. Our friend Lundy would approve."

"Ha," she smiles, "Well, it can be self defeating, the pettiness and temper" CC says "Not underwear mooching. I just.. you know, there are so many real dangers out there for people in general and women more speciically and they go after MY song? It's such a ..a waste. It irked me. And when I get irked, I get ruthless." A shrug, then "In a weird way though, I found myself rather proud of our club for other reasons. We DO do a good job of protecting the women who are here as staff and clientle both"

"We do; it's a smart investment."

"mm not going to addmit you too have a gooey center?"

"My gooeiness is not the question." He insists. "It -is- a smart investment; boggans are particularly touchy about not being properly valued and treated well for the work done."

"Mmmm..." oh, he likes that. "Thank you."

She enjoys that, but then says "i'm not going to spoil it before hand, silly"
