He leans forward and puts his face in his hands, still chuckling, and then sits up. "Well?"

"I am just perverse enough to enjoy the painful irony while railing against it."

"Oh fine, out with it. Out with what's on your mind."

"No, I mean... you gained a favor from Kitten?"

"YES... the money's nice dear, but considering I have snared you, It's mostly for a night on the town and maybe a new fur coat."

He purrs a bit. "Well. There is that."

"It would appear Sir August trusted me. Probably judging me by Caesar. My son is a good boy, ergo..." She shrugs

His lips twist... not in a good way. "Sir August."

What would you say if I told you I had implanted inside each of her parents a lurking alter ego, ready to surface upon the command word, and kill any sidhe that they could by poison or other devious means as they became true anti-noble allies with just that word wakening that side of them? Agents slumbering inside themselves ready for a string pull?"

Also, I was in their heads. the mother and father,I mean. Trust me, I could easily make use of them after the fact. I helped a mixed up mother and a overly ravaged mortal father. She sighs, not liking seeing him feeling hurt
