CC comes in chucking "Mama's got paiaaaid"

Early evening, the club is open but quiet. The host stand seems to be empty.

"Oh dear." She looks about

"What?" 'Emerson' pops up from behind it.

"Gah!" She nearly drops the money

"Gah!" He responds in startled surprise.

"Don't DO that"

"Do what?" Lost. "I swear, Callidora, -something- is making things wobble."

"Spring out of seemingly no where when I'm trying to decide whether to tell you thinks or not" Accusatory, and who cares if it makes sense

He stares at her a moment.

Then he brushes his hands off and comes around the stand, motioning the hostess over to take it.

"You know better than anyone where I 'sprang' from, Dearest." With a charming smile and a secret twinkle. "I'm sure you'll make the right decision."

"Well...yes now that I've blurted"

"Your blurts are utterly charming, enough to distract even the strongest willed." He assures, taking her hand.

"Privacy, dear, you're going to want every detail I'm sure."

ANd she leads him to the hold putting someone else to stand at the host podium

"Oooo...." He follows along willingly. Eager, even.
