When next she attends to her business, office, and desk, Callidora finds a cold cup of tea on a lace doily, a scrum of clotted, spoiled cream covering the surface. Underneath those is a Mother's Day card.

A roll of eyes, but a smile

Then a blink, "Did I birth a sluagh?" She reads the card

The card is blank of any personal note.

"Way to ruin a morning..." She frowns and runs fingers over the tea cups , "Paranoia will destroya, or so the rappers splain.... but for me my friend, I need caution more than the win...so let's see what's at play."

"wait... a plot to make me..." She blinks, "Special brownies when I'm..." A huff, "William. You scared me to death. Doing this when the court is about."

'Gonna have to punish him..." She muses, butthere's more mischief in her eyes than true ire, "I'm a satyress... he'll know denying him sex is a bluff... and besides, that's a cheap bitchy move. I go for classy bitchy moves." She ponders... "I'll think of something."

"Did he recruit you for this? Or just borrow your stuff?" She noticed the lace work and thought of Zara at first, but now it's looking very much like her stuff. "mmm... even has her spoiled cream."

"No... you maybe a kitten, but your'e also a soothsayer...you wouldn't let him leave things that would link to you unless you wanted to be found and I just don't see that. No there's a reason..." ~ A pause ~ "Maybe its more than a practical joke. Fate forefend he should talk straight...worse than a pooka. That said... Zara...mother's day...Zara has two mothers... the wonderful Boggan blood that raised her as her own... and... " ~ Realization ~ "Oh my."

"So that's who... oh my ... those kids... I wonder if they realize how big a monkey wrench they threw into some of the Balor plans?"

"Shoot....this is a dangerous avenue to take for a multitude of reasons."

"I'll see what I can do," She puts things away and rises. She has places to visit.
